Surely that depends on who has the kickoff? If we get the kickoff that I can't see us fouling anyone with four seconds
Normally I'd agree but I don't see it in this one we will attack, the only time it may get boring is if we score first and then try to hold it and counter, if you score first it could go mad score wise if we open up.
I can. gerrard. Whistle blows and and the last sound leaves the whistle hes already diving through the air, studs ups. Hes got the power!
That's because you don't watch him, he's been very good lately and will put in the hard work and tracking needed, playing along with Hendo it means we have a very hard working midfield that will close you down and make you play it quickly. Henderson is someone I think will have joy against you runnnig through the middle from deep, playing Allen takes the shackles off him I just hope he's got his shooting boots on.
One word for Allen on why he normally plays ( for me at least)..... PRESSING! That man can press and chase correctly and it does make a difference.
With Allen and Gerrard sitting I can see Hendo having a good game, it's a game for heroes time for someone to step up.
I hope we press, when we do we are very good at it. We penned Arsenal in for the second half at the emirates. They had the ball but couldnt get forward very much as we had plyers pressing them right up to the keeper. You could see the effect it had on the goons, nervous passing, misplacing them etc. Ive seen us press a few times this season and weve looked good, its mad how we dont do it every game. Barcelona, bayern and Real base their play on pressing. Make your opponent nervous and force the mistake to get the ball back. barcelona under Pepe were the master of this. How do Liverpool cope with pressing teams? Have you played any? Its mainly a european thing.
Hmm, I feel the teams that have pressed us have been the lower level teams? It has to be done correctly as Suarez, Sturridge, and Sterling will find the space and exploit ( Spurs, Arsenal, Everton stick out on this).
