Seems like we are saying it every week now, but another big game for us in the quest for the title.

If we win we go 10 points clear with 8 games left and with Liverpool and Arsenal both away from home in massive derby games on Sunday. Could be a massive weekend for us. City also have a tricky game at Hull. We must make sure to win to put pressure on the others and maximise any dropped points.

    COYB!

read that City haven't won an away game since Jan! Stunning.

Villa very unpredictable, so not taking this for granted. Benteke on his day causes anyone problems.

Bloody hell, shocking for a '' top team'' that wants to win the league.

Not wumming but didn't United have a similar thing a 2-3 years back when they won the title. Shocking on the road but won pretty much every home game and won the title???

Agreed. You can pretty much say the same of any team away from home. They all have their day. Villa have beaten Arsenal and City this year if I recall and run Liverpool close and us at SB. Not a guaranteed 3 pointer that's for sure.

Correct, in the 10/11 season, we went the whole season unbeaten at home but lost a few away games as well.

Just checked, you won only 5 of 19 on the road. That was a piss poor league that year. You won the league on 80 points and finished 9 points clear.

I think you may get 3 or 4 go past the 80 point mark this year.

This is the type of game where Oscar could find some form? or is he likely to be rested?

Just checked, that appears to be the case. So essentially we're talking about 1 game as they were never going to win at Barca. Just goes to show was bollox stats can be!

And I'm sure somebody mentioned that stat yesterday when they'd not even played Barca so were basing it totally on a single away game <doh>

A nice 0-4 win would go down very nicely <ok>

They're better away from Villa Park as they like to play on the counter attack, although playing us they might try that at home. Still fancy us to win but it will be close. I'll go 2-0.

Villa are Comedy Central at home, if we can't beat them there we don't deserve the league IMO. Away they are a different animal, superb counter attacking team.

Hull v City is one where I feel the latter will drop points.

Certainly Over 100 another defining w-end in the Prem. Hull v City will tell a story. Bruce has made Hull very solid and with an F.A. cup semi to look forward to, their tails will be up ! Add to that, City coming back from Barca and the match being played early Sat it's definitely a test for City. As regards ourselves, I think Jose and the Lads are in the "zone" at the moment and can see us taking this. Would be lovely to be able to sit back and relax on Sunday and see how Pool and Arsenal deal with tough away games and the pressure we have ratched up on them lately.

Depends which team turns up. 45 mins Chelsea would probably settle for a draw, 90 mins Chelsea ( though a rarity) should win comfortably.

Got a funny feeling about this one, based on recent results at Villa Park. However I think Villa are poorer this year than they have been in recent seasons. If we can scrape the win I will be delighted, on form we should, but looking back, at The Baggies and West Ham the funny feeling will not go away.

From 4 trophies to 1 within weeks is very bad for City. I know they got some ex goon players, now looks like they got the goon blueprint as well for imploding. No wonder Manny looks like Arsene's distant cousin!

This should be straight forward match.
