I agree with Gerrez for once - http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/253665-Reasons-we-hate-dislike-Manchester-Utd
Question was just asked on our board, what Man Utd team/formation don't you want to see? I posted this......... ----------------De Gea ---------------------------------------- -Rafeal---Ferdinand---Vidic----Evra ---------------------------------------- -----------Carrick---Fletcher-------- ---------------------------------------- --------Mata--Fellani--Rooney---- ------------------RVP-------------- Using Fellani around the edge of the box as a target man feeding Rooney and Mata. Thoughts?
It would probably work well, but id be amazed if he lined up that way, as if it all went wrong he would come under serious fire for playing Fellaini in the hole, and Rooney out wide. I can't see Moyes wanting to risk upsetting Rooney either by sticking him on the left. Ferguson used to make surprise tactical moves like that before big games, but he could get away with it because of who he was, but Moyes would be taking far to big a risk to try something like that, as he's already under serious pressure
Central defensive suicide. I no longer consider Vidic a United player and shouldn't be considered for selection unless we're desperate. Rio shouldn't be used really either, got to go with the future.
----------------De Gea ---------------------------------------- -Rafeal---Smalling---Jones----Evra ---------------------------------------- -----------Carrick---Fellani-------- ---------------------------------------- --------Mata--Rooney--Januzaj---- ------------------RVP-------------- That probably be the team.
I would prefer to stick with what we've used last time out, which is with Fellaini and Carrick as a CM pair and Rooney, Mata, Januzal as a three (nominally) behind RVP. It's quite fluid and can fan out to 4 4 2 or 4 3 3 of 4 5 1 or whatever. It looked to me on the face of it what our front six should be and allows Welbeck or Kagawa to come into similar formations as and when.
