Sweden (Sverige)

What do you know about Sweden, if you're like me, next to nothing is probably the answer.
So here's some help......

Sweden, officially the Kingdom of Sweden is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe. Sweden borders Norway and Finland, and is connected to Denmark by a bridge-tunnel across the Øresund.

At 450,295 square kilometres (173,860 sq mi), Sweden is the third-largest country in the European Union by area, with a total population of about 9.6 million with the population mostly concentrated to the southern half of the country. About 85% of the population live in urban areas. Sweden's capital city is Stockholm, which is also the largest city. Since the early 19th century Sweden has generally been at peace and has largely avoided war.

So little to do, they've produced some of the best musicians in the world and gave us the unforgettable ABBA.
Don't you just love Abba - inspiration for so many UK bands from the Pistols to Oasis and beyond in recent years.
I read recently about how Noel Gallacher wrote 'Don't Look Back in Anger' after listening to 'Waterloo' at an Abba all-nighter he'd been at in Manchester.

That's about it for Sweden, other than adding some of the best of Swedish music.
Being serious, there is some bloody good music out there.
