... and last applicant because a) Cellino doesn't ask for applicants, he simply appoints who he likes, or b) administrators will have Redfearn run the team while the FL asks all the clubs to vote on relegating Leeds to League Two with a 50 points penalty Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thanks for the positivity Billy. Not sure the club could survive time in L2. It might also really struggle in L1 were we to get relegated for spurious reasons again.
Its not happened yet nor will it I have always said Simon if he had kept his nose clean would have become our second best manager Revie no.I wish him well at Preston where he seems to be doing very well1 he knows what we want I believe he didn't stand up to Bates enough treated like a serf
Can't remember where so might be wrong, but I thought I heard he'd fallen out with Cellino some years back ?
In the summer of 2003, amid rumours of an impending takeover at Chelsea, Zola left Stamford Bridge to join Cagliari, the most important club from his native Sardinia. Within a week Chelsea was acquired by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. It was reported that Abramovich tried to buy the entire Cagliari club when Zola refused to renege on his verbal contract with Cagliari, although Zola himself will not confirm it. Zola subsequently led Cagliari to promotion to the Italian Serie A. Then he renewed his contract for Cagliari Calcio for one more year. He retired in June 2005, after ending his career in appropriate style with a double against Juventus in his last ever professional game. His number 10 Cagliari jersey was withdrawn in his honour for the season after he left but was worn in the 2006â07 season by Andrea Capone. Wiki I would welcome him over McD any day
We just need a manager who can accept the way Cellino works and who has half a clue, then we can have a chance of getting out of this division, McD doesn't tick either of those boxes.
You've made a mistake here, you wrote we need a manager who can accept how Cellino works. What you meant to say was we need an endless stream of managers who can accept how Cellino works.
Only takes one of 'em to get it right and there won't be an endless stream of managers just a thought like
And better than sticking long term with a manager who seems to think two wins from eighteen is acceptable. Still he continuously says how great the fans are so that should keep them on board for another while
