Oh just shut up already. He's been one of our best players all season and has put in great performances recently, his Everton performance was absolutely world class.

If you can't see what he does for the team your not watching him enough or your looking for the wrong things.

How was he world class against Everton? And correct me if i'm wrong (which i'm not), but didn't we play better yesterday (against the best team in the world) AFTER Ozil went off? Face it, we've signed a dud, just as i predicted it would be. With a player like Ozil, you have to build the team around him, something we're not doing, just slotting him in is a waste of his talent.

So many things wrong with this comment lol

Where to start... Against Everton he scored the first with a beautiful finish, played in oxo to win the penalty, played in Sagna to cross for giroud on the third and assisted the fourth. He also set up several other chances most noticeably the Gibbs chance which could easily have been a goal. He was on fire, making chance after chance...

Next up yesterday against bayern he started very lively then vanished and it turns out he is injured and out for weeks. Hardly a good judge of how good he is to pick on a game where he was injured. Cheap shot.

Then you say he is a dud. He has 6 goals, 11 assists and has created more chances than any player in any of Europe's top 5 leagues this season. He has the exact same amount of league goals and assists as silva. He has been an important part of what has so far been a good season.

He cost £42 ****ing million! Surely you'd want more production for that insane pricetag? 6 goals (only 1 has come recently) and 11 assists (those have dried up too) is a poor showing for that amount of money.

And if we're going on your created chances argument, then finally you have to agree with me that Giroud is crap (who's the guy who spurns all the chances), either way, you've lost.

Girouds conversion rate isn't great and ozil would definitely benefit from someone more lethal up top. I don't get what you think you've won though, ozil has had a good first season and can't be described as a dud and giroud not being lethal in front of goal doesn't make him a crap player.

And your saying his stats are a poor showing but they are amongst the best in the league. You need to get over the price tag already and stop having unrealistic expectations because your always disappointed when they aren't met. Ozil has had a good first season and does exactly what we bought him for, he constantly creates chances.

Ozil can't do anything about the price tag. If we'd bought him for 10m those criticising him would be saying that he's been a revelation. As it stands, he's had a decent first season with room for improvement next time around. Definitely a class act and somebody who can turn a game on a sixpence. We've not seen as much as that as we'd like, but I've seen enough to satisfy me that he's going to be a big player at Arsenal.

    1. So a striker that can't score isn't a bad player? A striker's primary job is to score goals

    2. He cost £42 mil and came to us with the label as being "The best CAM in the world", i think i have every right to be disappointed with his displays. For that money, you want a player who can take a game by the scruff of the neck and force something to happen, not just meander through almost aimlessly.

EDIT: OK, i may have gone too far calling him a dud, lets see what he does next season with a real striker in front of him, if he's still below par, then i'm claiming victory.

The best player I have ever seen in an Arsenal shirt is DB10 and I remember the same **** being spouted about him being crap and a waste of money

1 ) he obviously can score as he has 18 goals this season at a rate of a goal per two games. His isn't particularly lethal but he contributes a lot through his all round play both offensively and defensively. And chips in with a solid amount of goals. He is 5th behind Suarez, Sturridge, Rooney and aguero in the combined goals and assists table for the league. He is a solid cf. everyone agrees we need another striker of a different variety bug giroud is very good at what he does. When you come out with stuff like "he can't head the ball" and "he's crap" which is obvious nonsense your opinions lose credibility. If you where more fair when you judged him people might take you more seriously. We all know his floors but you seem oblivious to his strengths.

I also remember the flack that Vieira used to get in the early days, that he was badly disciplined and a liability in an Arsenal shirt.

2 ) your the same breed of fan who have slated the club for not paying over the odds for players in recent years. The club are criticized for over paying and critisiced for not paying enough. It's ridiculous. And to top it off ozil can do nothing about the price tag. Not to mention the fact that all sorts of factors effect a transfer. Honestly you just need to get over it.

He was at first though, he improved as he aged. Ozil isn't some kid, he's a global superstar, he's effectively the face of our team, and his poor performances are worrying, because we needed him to be good at this time of year, he was signed to help us try and win the league, and at crunch time, his game has slumped.

Well DB10 played quite good in the beginning of his first season it's just that he did not score in his first 12 games then he was constantly phenomenal for us after that!

He was a complete unknown when Wenger signed him from Monaco, but he quickly proved the doubters wrong. He still commands one of the best ever songs about our players in my opinion, the porno flick chant still makes me laugh today.

Along with Vieira, Petit, Bergkamp and Henry, we have players like Walcott and Ramsey today who some fans have gone from completely slating to having to choke on a big fat chunk of humble pie. For me Ozil is top quality and he'll be a massive player at Arsenal. Fans like Kyle should learn from their previous before slagging players off.

I still maintain United are big game bottlers. Scratch that they've bottled most games really.
