The club reckon if everyone exercised their option to buy two on an adult pass and one on a kids(which they won't), there'd still be 2,000 tickets left over. I don't think there's anything wrong with the system, it's when we come to the final that it gets difficult, I assume that will be one per pass holder and a free-for-all for the rest.
Surely letting adults get two is age discrimination? I get it for the kids prices (0-10 and 11-15) but what about seniors and 16-22? They can't have two because they're not old enough/too old? Or does it mean they can only get one concession ticket per pass and may get an adult ticket too?
Seems fair enough. I dont think its difficult if you're a season pass holder. You get your seat. The club should do a draw if we get to the final of all those who went to the semi final for the remaining tickets.
How many pass holders do we have this season? Anyone got an accurate number? The 2 tickets per pass holder thing is ridiculous. As a group we have 4 adult pass holders, we could just bring 4 nobodies along who don't care about anything and just want a day out at Wembley, such as Manchester United fans. I can understand it would be good to bring family along, say if you've got city supporting kids for whom it may not be convenient/possible for them to have a pass of their own, but there has to be a better way than giving all pass holders 2 tickets.
I would say any FA cup game. For whatever reason someone may not be able to have made certain games such as work commitments etc. It'd hardly be fair if someone who had attended every other FA cup game had to miss the semi for say a family wedding or funeral, but wasn't allowed the chance at getting a ticket for the final yet Manchester United day outers are.
Sorry mate but its tough titty. didnt the club do a half season pass at Xmas, season pass holders showed loyalty by buying the season pass owt else- length of time supporting, working away, been ill, plastic fan, ex pat coming home specifically for this game etc. Their all just consumers and who gets one gets one.
Personally i think all pass holders should have first option, followed by anyone who has attended more then 3 matches this season, then anyone else.
I do agree with the above personally. Its right that season pass holders should get two tickets because a lot of people do only have one pass and go alone, but maybe for the long wembley trip want to take the wife, a friend or a kid. HOWEVER the only thing i don't understand is the 1 per concession? why aren't they allowed two? because that ultimately means if you're a concession you HAVE to go alone, well you don't have to but you ultimately won't be sitting next to a friend unless they have a concession pass too. With season tickets come certain privileges and a chance for tickets is one of those. I imagine the number for general sale will be capped at two also? unless they offer extras for families etc wanting to go. Lets just be thankful they've capped season tickets at two! It could have been more with season pass holders buying tickets for their mates etc. Not every pass holder will take up the option of going, nor will all of them take up the option for two tickets. Theres plenty for everyone
Based on the 2,000 tickets left over(if everyone exercised their right to buy maximum tickets), I assume it's a bit over 5,000.
The junior tigers passes are under 16 That means they get one ticket each I'll only buy one on my adult pass So we will be ok.
It doesnt matter one jot if there should still be some left over if all season ticket holders buy 2 tickets - the system is plainly not fair. How can you having something entitle you to 100% more? You have 1 season ticket, you get 1 ticket. That is by far and away the fairest system.
Concessions can only get one ticket, because if they could get two, they could be over subscribed by season ticket holders alone and pass holders could miss out so that a 10 year olds Manchester United supporting school friend can go.
For the final I'm sure that's what will happen, but for the semi I think they're trying to make it as easy as possible for us to sell out, as it's hard to gauge how many will take up their season ticket options.
You've no season pass and havent you refused to attend any games while Allam is in charge, why are you even commenting??
No I havent, Ive refused to attend any home games since he started the name change process. If you're going to accuse me of something, then get it right. I have never once stated that I refused to go to games a) before this season or b) games away from the KC. And anyway - even if I HAD said that, I can still comment when something is wrong. I wasnt alive at the time of WWII nor was I a victim of the Nazis but I can still say that Hitler was a pretty bad chap.
So people who don't have a pass but made the effort to go to Boro, Southend or Brighton don't get any sort of priority over other non-pass holders? If that's the case, it's poor.
