The media propaganda machine is in full swing. People are criticizing Ozil and Arsenal for being satisfied with a 1-1 draw and a 3-1 aggregate loss as if this is the result we would taken before the tie was started. We knew we'd have to play our best to beat these guys and we didn't and we lost. Simples. What I find more amusing is that the people who criticize Arsenal for being negative also think we should have gone toe to toe with Bayern, as if we had some kind of chance of turning the tie around. Had we lost 5 or 6 nil, they would have been berating us even more, so it's a no-win situation.

You could replace 'cnuts' with 'winners'. I can understand your confusion though.

Least Ozil is out for a bit, embarrassing to see a once world class player being brought down to Arsene's level so quickly. ;)

I hope he is never brought down to the level of John Terry

We can't all have perfect role models as captains, such as Tony Adams. <whistle>

At least Adams wasn't a racist, didn't shag a team mates missus and didn't get pissed up and mock American tourists over 9/11

The way i look at it Bayern are currently one of the top clubs in world football. There is no shame in losing to them. They are a proper football club steeped in history and they have slowly progessed to the heights they are now. There is shame in losing to a club like Chelse who are the complete opposite of a proper football club. Their fans are dire and their club is a cash cow with the soul of an inanimate object. Yes they win things but at the cost of self respectability.

    Nice meltdown. ;)

Given we beat you every year in matches, to trophies and in league positions, how do you cope with the shame?

Is there a trophy for self respectability, who judges it and is it as shiny as the Emirates cup?

Ah Chelsea fans, always about the class, be they from the early pre-Abramovich racist/thuggish brand or the modern day store brought type. No wonder you all like John Terry, his attitude is perfectly normal to you! I'm sure there are some nice fans amongst them but I'm not inclined to search.

But, you know, you carry on taking the p*ss out us for a game you weren't involved in where we drew (and scored) against the best team in the world at their ground. What a bunch of mugs we are :(

Seem to remember ex arsenal player 'fabregas' diving to win a penalty when we faced barcelona in the semi finals. <ok>

Is there a trophy for drawing and scoring at the Allianz? And is it as shiny as the 'self respectability' trophy and do we get one too as we scored at their ground whilst beating them in the C.L final?

I think you'll also find it was one of your brethren that turned this into a slagging match BTW. I could make a sweeping statement about all Gooners but you seem to be hurting enough already....;)

You must be nearing the point of suicide with the shame you must be carrying given the fact that we've beat you all over the place in recent years. And as for our fans being dire, here's what those admirable Bayern Munich fans thought of you last night:

But of course, keep your tongue placed firmly in their arseholes if it softens being knocked out by them at the same stage in successive seasons. In their minds they probably think you like doing that.

I'm not hurting thanks. I'm disappointed to be out of the Chumps League but I thought overall we did ourselves proud. I am, however, stunned at Gooners getting annoyed at a Chelsea fan poking them with a stick after we are dumped out by Bayern. And on our own forum too! You'd think they'd be more gracious and let you mock in peace.

I'll have a word with the mods for you if you like.

Adams was an alcoholic who combated his demons,he then went on to found a charity to help other sportsmen with alcohol, gambling and other problems. What will Terry do when he retires, start a retirement home for BNP members ?.I bet a lot of Chelsea fans would retire there.

First of all, let's try and keep this civil. If the visiting Chelsea fans can't or won't do that then I'll simply put a stop to it. I'm starting to get ****ed off with every thread descending into a slanging match with either Chelsea or Liverpool fans.

Secondly, there is no shame in losing to Bayern especially in the manner we did. We matched them last night and but for the sending off and penalty miss in the first leg, we could have run them a lot closer. We still need a striker as a priority this summer, so no change there. Let's hope it happens this time around

So Terry allegedly makes a racist comment and that equates to Chelsea fans being racists? Get a grip FFS.

To be fair, this was started by an Arsenal fan having a go at Chelsea cos Robben used to play for us and the Arsenal fans are the ones throwing the actual abuse around.

That is kinda the point why they are on here. It would be nice if people could refrain from responding to them as very few on either side contribute to constructive debate.

As for your other point, I think the tie was as good as over when we lost our goalkeeper in the first leg. From the moment we needed to chase this tie we were always in for an uphill task. Bayern may have beat us anyway, being 11 vs 11 but we'll never know now. I was satisfied, without being totally pleased with the performance last night. Our defensive shape remained solid for the most part and we scored a good goal. Of course there are those who would tell you that we should have blindly attacked them from the first whistle, trying desperately to overturn the 2 goal deficit but I think Wenger got it spot on last night. The result is what it is. Time to move on.

I couldn't give a **** who started it, this isn't the school playground. If you're visiting an opposing board then show a bit of respect otherwise we'll simply prevent you from posting here.

You're obviously too young to remember your fans having links to groups like Combat 18
