Did anyone know that NH wouldn't let Nico de Boinville ride in the week before the Festival because he didn't want him to lose his 5lb allowance for this race? Would probably have lost if just claiming the 3lb.

I didn't and it made all the difference...perhaps AP could have taken it up earlier but hard to fault his ride since he hit the front on the run in. Unlucky Toppy and RV.
How unlucky is Get Me Out Of Here, 2nd at four Festivals! What chance of Kid Cassidy winning the Queen Mother for AP? Although he's 10lbs worse off for beating Sire De Grugy at Cheltenham last November, he was a decisive winner so can't rule out.
