Looks like the ****s in the UK media are attempting another hatchet job on Ozil, despite him just pulling a hamstring and that clearly affecting his performance. There is now a massive agenda against him for whatever reason.

Im proud of our perfomance tonight. We must never expect the media to side with us. The Ozil agenda is in full swing. Nights like this remind me why i love Arsenal and also why they frustrate the hell out of me sometimes.

Watching the Athletico highlights. We would be soo much more effective with a striker like Costa in our team.

    The guy is soo sharp.

Absolutely. All these reports about him being a party animal, not training properly, running over reporters, disrespecting the traveling support, getting his teammates furious at him, and being a massive, selfish disappointment after a good start have no basis in truth whatsoever. It's just the media conspiring to defame a great player and wonderful human being due to their relentless anti-Arsenal bias.

...I actually came on here to say Bayern's diving was one of the most egregious, disgraceful displays of cheating I've ever seen by a team in one game, but somehow I got distracted.

We have some divers in the premier league at all clubs but when you play in Europe you realise it's a whole new ball game when it comes to diving, cheating and gamesmanship. Bayern are becoming the new Barcelona in this regard unfortunately. It's hard enough to beat these teams given their quality, factor in the rest and it's almost impossible.

Spot on but ironic coming from a Chelsea fan, when one of the biggest divers yesterday was an ex-Chelsea player....

Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer says the club's tactics are becoming unwatchable.

The former captain and manager, known as Der Kaiser, was unimpressed with their performance after the Bundesliga club knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League.

"In the end, it'll be like Barcelona, unwatchable," he said, referring to Bayern manager Pep Guardiola's previous team and their tiki-taka passing game. They will pass the ball back even on the goal-line". <laugh>

Must be all Chelsea's fault then <doh>

As I said, we've all had them, Arsenal have had plenty.

I reckon all the Özil bashing was written prior to kick off and the journos were too lazy to re-write it when they heard he was injured. Only us smashing Bayern with him getting all the goals would have seen these articles shelved (for another week). Pathetic. We just need to make sure we don't get caught up in the witch hunt and show full support for him in every game. Me? I fookin' love him!

Yeah agreed, come on Lazarus, he was a massive cnut before going to Chelsea so you're being unfair!

Course they obviously added to his cnutiness, being around JT and Cashley for so long makes that inevitable, but it's not all their fault!

Chelsea is the finishing school for all cnuty players. I'm surprised granny shagging Rooney didn't opt to leave for them. He would fit like a glove with the rest of the cnuts.

One of the worst attacks on Ozil is written by Neil Ashton in today's Daily Nazi. Given the past history of that "newspaper" I wonder if is anything to do with Ozil being a Turk and a muslim
