Assuming Doyle isn't fit, and from HR's press conference after Brighton it seems likely that he won't be, who would you start? Keane Maiga Dellatore Zamora Johnson is out still with the ankle injury, and obviously so is Austin. Not much to choose from considering we are meant to be trying for promotion! I can't watch Keane again as he was awful yesterday, likewise, Maiga doesn't seem up to it. I also can't see Dellatore being given a chance, and perhaps it would be unfair to just throw him in like that without even a sub appearance. So for me, based on a recent sub performance it has to be Zamora by default! Cant remember which game, but he came on and played quite well. Looked up for it, and created quite a few chances. Pretty dire situation to be in!
How many training sessions has he got to injure himself again? I have no idea who should play, Johnson is the only one I'd give a definite yes to if he was available, but he seems to have joined the Bloody Luke Young club.
I'll give you a clue, we met at half-time. Can't believe I'm writing this but I'd go with Zamora too.
Last time i saw him was away at Forest, beyond woeful. I have seen him be a real centre forward, a complete nuisance and very effective. But not for a very long time.....
Hitchcock dellatorre and zamora should be considered, Keane is way out of his depth and I honestly don't know how Maiga made his way into football, never mind the PL. Redkknapp managed to bring in worse players than he shipped out.
Trouble is he'd get booed from the start, it doesn't matter what he does. He came on and looked decent in a game and all he got was sarcastic cheers from the morons.
Shariff & anyone of the youngsters, heard Bradley allen on bbc last night, give him a go & i'm sure he could do better than our lot at present, just shows you how poor the jan transfer window was with the quality we got in, its pitiful.
He came on with 15 minutes to go, held the ball up a couple of times without falling over but never looked like winning a header let alone scoring. I have nothing against BZ but his physical condition means he is finished as a footballer. It truly will be an act of desperation if he plays.
Can’t comment on Dellatore so would probably stick with Keane because the other two aren’t footballers. That or Richard Dunne up there like a poor mans George Santos. Need someone who can win a header and hold the ball up.
Dellatore (no idea what he is like) or the best remaining goalscorer from the under 21's or below. If that means playing a sixteen year old, so be it.
He never lost a challenge when he came on, he did all that was asked of him. Saying anything else is just rewriting history and I can't stand the bloke.
