Got plenty of confidence to go with the skill too. We've got one or two stars of the future in our ranks.

Quite liked the performance of our #4 too.

Chelsea were a bit rough on Aarons from the start, good job he's a tough little guy.

my only gripe from last night was that I thought the ref was very picky
picky for who and what he would give a freekick for

saying that Gilliead was booked for persistant nagging of the ref when decisions went against us

I didn't see what Kemen was booked for
there was a lot of shoving going on from their number 9

I think it was the ref's FA Cup Final game and he wanted to be the star of the show. Have the ball placed on the exact spot kind of thing.

I thought both CH's did well against their number 9
but the lad with the hair :afro: was causing us the most problems cutting in and beating young Sterry first half
second half the blondish/fair-ish lad with his socks up his arse was doing the same down the east stand wing

None of our youngsters looked as big as the Chelsea youngsters.

Crowd: 2,506 - almost 1,000 less than had seen the Fourth Round victory over the mackems. Among those present was Alan Pardew, ahead of his FA ban.

Senior players watching proceedings included Fabricio Coloccini, Mike Williamson, Tim Krul, Rob Elliot, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Paul Dummett, Sammy Ameobi, Dan Gosling, Adam Campbell and Conor Newton.

Nice to see that so many of the first XI squad turned up to watch the kids.

Rolando Aarons lovely bit of skill to earn free kick which led to the goal. Even if Kemen did do his best Maradona impression by handling it in <laugh>
