They really should have gone through tonight, god knows they had enough great opportunities. Unusual to see an Arsenal side so nervous and uncomfortable with the ball, usually 9/10 each one of those attacks would have at least culminated in a shot but they couldn't even pass to each other. Must be a psychological thing why the top teams dominate so much, Arsenal fell to bits in Munich tonight the same way most other clubs such as ourselves tend to fall apart when they meet the likes of Arsenal.
Pressure will all be on them assuming they get past Wigan and we get past Sheff.Utd, cos they're by no means givens. The FA cup is now Arsenal's only chance of a trophy this season - huge pressure then and though I hate to say it, I fancy Wigan to spring a surprise in the semis. If we get through, we're the higher league fancied team........... bloody hell!!
Last night showed again that they are crying out for a decent striker. Giroud is not up to it. Best CB combination they've had in some time, though.
That run in the first half where he ended up getting hauled down... Incredible. He's going to be such a huge assett to the national team, better than Messi.
First sentence - sensible First part of second sentence - sensible Last three words of second sentence - silly
With Walcott - Ramsey - Wilshere and now Ozil out injured Arsenal have real problems in midfield. You can see Wigan beating them and Arsenal not finishing in the top 4 now. Sunday's North London game is massive. Arsenal have the fixture list from hell at the moment with key players now missing.
The thing with Wigan is that the FA Cup Final is the week before the Championship PO Final on saturday 24th May. So assuming that Wigan make the PO Final which game do they take more seriously ? Dave Whelan has already said that the PL is top priority So would they play a weekend side i wonder ? Twt on that one.
Can't wait to see Arsene Wenger's face in the post match interview after we beat them to lift the FA Cup.
Arsenal can play some good football and can rip teams apart. They have done it enough to City recently during large parts of games when most other clubs haven't been able to do it.
Oxlaide-Chamberlain and Barkley look very promising. Do we have any good young out and out strikers that could begin to make us a force again?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26539412 1:12 in the interview, "he (Robben) is a very good diver!" Does Wenger ever stop whinging?
Good on him for saying it. Robben is a disgrace. He needs his arrogant little face destroying and his legs breaking. Step up Mr. Shawcross
