Overall it was a fair performance , nothing special , which is what was required . Dissappointed with the lack of movement OFF the ball ...which brought any counter to a halt . Some of the passing was not accurate enough .......but we are lacking any kind of serious threat up front without a striker . We were lucky to get this far . Very proud of the team tonight (except Giroud). Went out there, gave everything, didn't lose at the Allianz (not many teams can say that), and if not for some awfully slow thinking from Giroud at the end, we could have snatched the game.

I don't get why some pundits are lauding Munich for tonights performance, Hartson is just ****ting on us and praising Munich to the max, there was nothing massively special about Munich tonight, yes everybody knew they would have the majority of possession, but for the most part they didn't do much with it, yeah they had a few good chances, which you'd expect, but it wasn't like we were under siege with chance after chance falling Munich's way. The fact is, the red card was a major bearing on the tie, but pundits are pundits, always like to chat ****.
I think they can all give themselves a pat on the back for a good effort. And they will hopefully be feeling confident ahead of spurs who aren't even 25% of the team that this bayern team are. No need to single anyone out I don't think. My main worry is whether the team are affected physically against spurs after this tough midweek fixture.
