It's all conjecture. The facts are it was only the 3rd fence. He had lots of time to sort himself out. It definitely hindered him but I don't agree he was the certain winner if the incident hadn't happened. What if OC had fallen? He beat Jezki LTO. Why couldn't OC have beaten Jezki? Again, we don't know but you seem certain. How? I have no idea.

I am not angry Beefy, just don't like this mudslinging on here. I came on looking for some commiseration from fellow punters about a horse I so obviously got right not getting his just desserts today but instead there is this mess!!!!!

I am absolutely gutted that 90pc of my ante post bets have gone down the swanee today when I should be looking forward to a fantastic few days! Lesson learned about eggs in baskets and don't expect any sense on here either!

Also gutted for the loss of a cracking horse in the process!

    Anyway, moving on.

I put up the one two in the Supreme on the preview thread and Josses Hill has surely given Royal Boy a form boost in the Neptune. He ran well but clearly no match for the winner. Royal Boy, if he takes to good ground, has a chance.

Got to agree with Boston even the pundits on telly said it probably cost him three lengths at worst it could have been a three way photo ! I was on TNO to go with 7/2 and a 10/1 ,,, took it on the chin that's racing

Stick - you've highly likely missed the precursor to all this on the Day 1 thread that has been deleted, sensibly, by Ron.

This is nothing against you. Boris has brought it all on himself as most would attest.

Beef, I like you m8, sorry for being a bit of a **** tonight, I have been drinking all day but that is no excuse, its not because I lost money, ive lost a lot more than I lost today in the past and im sure i'll lose more in the future.

Bit harsh calling me a gambling junkie basically, gambling is a bad addiction and I will admit I have struggled with it when I was younger and it has effected me in other ways that had nothing to with me.

Anyway, what happened today is racing, thats the way it goes, sometimes you lose even when you get it right.

I think you'd better find something else to back in the Neptune and the Champion Chase Nass <sorry>

I know stick. Unlike some I try to keep it light hearted and banter-like, with a few sneaky blows in, no different to yourself :) Unfortunately one poster has lost the plot a bit and is swinging out all around. Not you either! Threatening people is going a wee bit far and completely slagging off people for backing a horse in a race is a wee bit much in my view.

Unfortunately Ron has had a much busier day than he should have had. And bloody Oddy's probably on the piss and left him to it <laugh>

Hopefully everyone will calm down, and just get on with it tomorrow. I got lucky today and unlucky too. The festival will make us all look stupid at some point but when things don't go our way there's no need to come on effing and blinding at all and sundry.

    Happy Days, Ian?

Playing in the playground with no electronic gadgets in sight (weren't invented!) Didn't even need items - British Bulldog, Finger, thumb or icky, Tig (or tag depending on which part of the country you lived in)

I really miss Spit Tig. You run around and gob on someone, if you land then they are it, and you need to scarper fast. I have a lot of spit now I'm old - on the other hand I can't run as fast. One door opens and another closes eh?

    Happy Days <laugh>

And this post, in the middle of everything else going on on this thread, shows why we all love it on here <rofl> We got banned from playing British Bulldog in the scouts when someone broke their arm.

Fair enough MOG, I assumed you'd had a few. I HOPED you'd had a few! Apology accepted, sorry for what I said, but you were going over the top slagging people. I made plenty of comments about Our Conor, read my posts back. Everyone did. Like you say it's not about the money for most people on here, that's for sure.

I enjoy you too, even when you try, unsuccessfully, to WUM the hell out of me :) :emoticon-0150-hands:
