Are people on here seriously comparing what happens in a factory/warehouse or whatever job you do with football?

Get a life people, football is a whole different entity. It has it's own rules and regulations completely different to the real World.

If you want the same rules for what happens on a football pitch, you'd also want the same rules for the stands too would you?

    No, you wouldn't.

He didn't make contact, he's banned from the stadium for 3 games and the other 4 he'll be in the stands looking like a twat.

Move on, its done, he's paying for his stupidity, it doesn't affect us at all.

It was more a piss take than a presumption.

As I say, sticks and stones.

If the pitch had the same rules as the stands, by our plod's standards he'd get a three year ban and prison as minimum.

Would you be sacked on the spot though ? I was at a day long health and safety course recently,(massive massive bore) and the lady brought in to bore us, told us that you would no longer be"sacked on the spot" for assaulting a colleague, but the two persons involved would be summoned to a meeting, whereby the reasons for the altercation would be discussed, and an attempt at sorting out differences, would be sought.

I don't know if this is true, so please look up the legalities, before punching your boss/person who's been pissing you off at work for years, in the throat, because i doubt if "A bloke on 606 City said i'd be within my rights" would be a good defence.

I think Pardews punishment is about right by the way <ok>

Does womens football have any of the problems that the mens game does? Maybe we just know how to behave ourselves better on the field. Or on the touchline even.

What? Where the hell did you get prison as a minimum? He'd get a caution and let off.

Did I miss Meyler being carried off on a stretcher for emergency surgery?

Maybe a little perspective wouldn't go amiss here.

Apply the same rules outside of the ground to inside and you'd end up with hardly any "hard core supporters". OLM would be running the prison library after "Pie Gate". Hardly be sensible would it?

We've had fans banned for being hit by chairs and fans imprisoned for knocking over a plastic glass.

So one woman compared to hundreds of acts of aggression every week in the mens game. I think there's a reason we are called the fairer sex.

If she means that the days of instant dismissal, clear your locker, 5 minutes to remove yourself from company property, no more said, on your way, then she's right.

There is now a formal process which may mean suspension, an enquiry with appropriate representation on both sides, a decision making process then a right of appeal.

But at the end of the day if you've twatted someone you're heading for the exit.

    I'm loving ' A bloke on not606 said .....' as a defence however!

Rather sexist and aggressive of you but, no, it's more just one of the first clips. There's a fair few other clips even given the lower number of female players.

You should be proud of your sisters, doing their bit for equality. <ok>

Yes, but as they wear enough padding and protective hear to survive nuclear armageddon - then it's a pointless point. I'm sure most of it is choreographed to add to the 'entertainment'.
