    Had a return! 4th placed Green Flag 16-1 ew min bet. Still - it could be a sign of good fortune for OC in the Champion.

    Not a word MOG if you don't mind - let me keep the dream alive for another 40 minutes or so!

    Better get another Guinness - it's starting to take effect <laugh>

    Right it's Champion Hurdle up next... This is a heck of a race to predict- even though I've had a bet on TNO. But it's gonna be a good one whichever runner wins it...!!!

    Blimey, Champion Hurdle up next. Months of discussion, all gonna come down to a rollercoaster 2 miles.

    I don't think we envisaged it being run on this ground though when discussing during those rainy months.

    Fascinating to see how they go and what sort of pace Captain Cee Bee sets.

    Hope its fast, clean, with no excuses.

    Yes indeedy, CH coming up. I have put more than pride on the line with Our Conor. Biggest amount bet on a horse in my life. And I have been betting on horses for 50 years.

    Whatever way you cut it, I have been a prat - with no income I should not be betting in large numbers, as there is no way to replace losses. To say I am nervous is a massive understatement!

    **** it, I'll have another Guinness.

    While I can still afford them <laugh>
