Sounds like a Belgian with a misunderstanding of English contract law. Offered and accepted gives grounds for a claim unless cp altered the terms before signing. If not the lawyers might stretch the legal qualifications of our chief executive to the limit.... Doesn't work the same way under Belgian law but I would think the league managers association could have a field day.

All our owners have given us that... They've also been very fortunate to have an ever present group of fans, who looking at the overall picture boils down to blaming everything on the manager...

They have done an excellent job of protecting a succession of useless owners ...

I suspect you just might have relegated yourselves if you are appointing a manager with no knowledge of championship football...

I said last week RD hadn't signed it off. Same with Poyet's contract <ok>

I wanted TJ and MS out as I felt (as many others did) that the club needed a change and some investment and this is not something I will apologise for before the 'be careful what you wish for' brigade begin.

Having said that, I would have them back in a heartbeat instead of RD given the way he is running the club. If what is being reported by SSN is true, this is an utterly dispicable way to treat another human being, let alone an employee that worked so tirelessly with both hands tied behind his back for the past 18 months.

I was seriously debating wether or not to renew my season ticket, this may force my hand.

I've said for over 10 days that KM has been doing her job here but receiving no support from RD. You now have to question if she's being hung out to dry like everyone else in London, or if she's happy to be a puppet. But I think it's strange that she's done her job of agreeing contract with CP, Poyet and a couple others yet not receiving the back up from Roland.

Dated 3rd of March it talks about RD not coming through for her.

Roley has just made a statement that the decision was taken because they could not agree on the "football strategy moving forward"...

So in other words CP didn't want to be his nodding puppet... The sacking was inevitable, and it has always been a question of when is Roley's puppet turning up...

This has got to be some sort of joke...?

I doubt he will because it may harm his future employment prospects. But I'd love to hear Powell's side of things warts an all.

It might at least make RD think twice before behaving like such a c**t in future.

Anyway, I'm off to bed after a 12hr night shift. When I wake up I want to read that the Qatar royal family have brought us and that they've recruited Carlo Anchelotti as manager.

    Night night...

<ok> If he wants a coaching role until the end of the season, i would hope that we'd take him on, but i can't see us making any changes backstage at the moment.

I think he'll take another managers job and deserves to really, got a promotion on his CV, maybe at the bottom end of the championship or a top end league 1 club looking for promotion.

Right decision would have been buying players we need, not players he wanted us to use from Liege.
Only Astrid is any good, and he can't last 90 minutes, Reza is lightweight European footballer, good luck Reza against League 1 CBs, Polish Pete, I was excited by but no where to be seen. Nego, not seen him, but if Powell would play Wilson at RB instead of RM to stop Nego playing, must say something. Thuram.... well, I'd feel more confident with my Mum in goal

Cawley said Roley had been unimpressed with CP's refusal to play Thuram and Nego. He's a massive dickhead - how do you think those players feel walking in to the club knowing the manager is under orders to play you, and not earning your crust.

We have one of the best Keepers in the Division in Ben Hamer, we HAD one of the most in form goal keepers in the divison in Ben Alnwick, now we have an absolute joke of a goal keeper.

As been said my season ticket won't be renewed now, and I'll just stroll over and buy a ticket for each game I fancy next season

As much as I am saddened by this decision, we need to get behind the new man and work as one to help pull away from the relegation zone.

Thank you Chris for 3 fantastic years as manager.

Is this Jose Riga dude going to be the manager or the director of football? Or is he here to oversee the academy?

Is someone else waiting in the wings?
