The fact that Cooper's best outsider is the 9-1 co fav here says it all really! But I highly doubt that anyone will be plunging their life savings on this race :D

The difficulty is not to end up having backed about 6 horses in it.

    BETFRED

    4/1 HURRICANE FLY

    4/1 CHAMPAGNE FEVER

That price is bigger than Hurricane first Champion Hurdle- that is a monster price for those who are behind him today.

Im sort of going against him today Toppy, something I have only done when Zarkandar ran against him. That was solely on my love for Zarkandar but today I just feel that the closer we get to this race that its not his race to win... The money for MTOY's seems to be swaying me, as my idea that TNO will push him close as well...

I hope we just get a classic race regardless of who wins it, as it should be a good one...!!!

We're getting close now and by far the most discussed race on the forum over the last several months is The Champion Hurdle and with it been such a wide open race and seemingly impossible to pick the winner i was wondering, for a bit of fun, what everybody's idea of the tri-cast would be for the race? Mine would be:

    1. Hurricane Fly
    2. Our Conor
    3. My Tent Or Yours

I've changed my mind so many times in this race!

I know his run at Kempton last time out wasn't the greatest but the 25's for The Liquidator in the Supreme seem huge, he's got to have a good chance of getting into the places

1-30 Irving backed at 8's AP
    2-05 Valdez 10/1
    3-20 Hurricane Fly 7/2
4:00 Quevega 5/6 and hoping for Evens, who doesn't like printing money?

Bring on the greatest racing on the planet

And if Hurricane Fly can see off the young pretenders the 6's Hills offered out are going to look outrageous

Vautour (PP offer), Alfie Sherrin, Fruity O'Rooney and Hurricane Fly, all each way singles.

Win patent on Vautour, Champagne Fever and Hurricane Fly.

Lucky 15 on Vautour, Champagne Fever, Hurricane Fly and Shotgun Paddy.

Lucky 15 on Irving, Dodging Bullets. Foxrock and Manyriverstocross.

And, two mug accumulators (only £1 e/w) for ****s and giggles on:

    1) Vautour, Champagne Fever, Alfie Sherrin, Hurricane Fly, Shotgun Paddy and Ataglance.

    2) Irving, Dodging Bullets, Fruity O'Rooney, The New One, Foxrock and Manyriverstocross.

Nobody seems to want to be on Nicholls or Mullins in the first two races.

Gilgamboa for AP McCoy has been backed and has won well in nice times this season. Wilde Blue Yonder has to be looked at each way. The horse is high on the Racing Post ratings list and could go close with a clear round.

I have really liked Dodging Bullets this season so am sticking with that selection in the Arkle. Champagne Fever has great Cheltenham Festival form but his jumping is a big question mark this afternoon. Likewise Rock On Ruby. Trifolium looks the main danger.

It looks one of four in the Champion Hurdle. Hurricanr Fly's form over the Irish runners looks far too superior to see Our Conor or Jezki reverse it. The New One and My Tent Or Yours are very close together on their form. Whether they are good enough to beat Hurricane Fly, I'm not sure. If they were we may have seen Champagne Fever in this rather than tue Arkle.

Sirene D'Ainay, second to Quevega last year, can spoil the party today. She is a year more experienced, Quevega is a year nearer retirement.

Holywell, Shutthefrontdoor and Manyriverstocross are the best of the rest.

Just scoffed to rolls and square sausage and a large cuppa. Feet up and ready for the action. Albeit with quite a bit of nerves!

Just got 8-1 on rock on ruby in Ladbrokes in-shop. Great timing by me I think considering I just left work to go do my few bets for the day! Max Stake £50 for 10 mins only!

looks like I will be off to a bad start - backed IRVING and VALSEUR LIDO in the opener and both are now on the drift!

I am sticking with the favourites in the Arkle - CHAMPAGNE FEVER and ROCK ON RUBY
In the 2.40 I am going for TIME FOR RUPERT and HOLYWELL
I have now discounted Jezki and Our Conor from the Champion Hurdle but keep changing my mind on the other 3!
I am assuming QUEVEGA wins her 6th in a row
In the 4.40 I am going for SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR and in the last will probably have 3 - MANYRIVERSTOCROSS, ERICHT and BABY MIX
