Kroos has said that it is 'no secret that the premier league is a possibility for me' and when pressed about joining Man Utd he said that 'I will consider everything'.

Kroos is locked in a contractual stand off with Bayern and his current deal expires next summer. It looks likely that Bayern will sell him this summer as the player doesn't seem to be making any indication that he wants to stay.

He's been heavily linked with Man Utd, but to be honest who would want to join that shower of ****e ? Especially as they probably won't even be playing Champions League football next season. It could leave the door open for us, especially as we have a strong German contigent at the club already.

Maybe attacking midfielder is not the priority for us to strengthen in, but if a player of Kroos' ability becomes available then I think we should go for him.

    Thoughts ?

Why would Kroos want to leave the best team in the world at the moment for a team that might not make Europa League next season (United)? Can't see him coming to us. We have enough AMs.

Rather than spend spare cash on luxuries like Kroos, I would prefer uncle Arsene to use it to secure Sagna's new contract and to send Flamini & Rosey to Switzerland for some age reversal treatments.

I tend to agree. I hope Uncle Arsene uses our cash to procure a striker as a priority and renews Sagna's contract. I'm not sure the expensive clinics that are renowned in Switzerland offer the type of service you're looking for though.

He's an extremely good player but is he an upgrade on Cazorla or Özil? I don't think he is so it seems a waste to spend the money on him where there are so many other positions that I think need addressing first. I'd never say no to signing a world class player, even if we had the position covered but I don't think you class Kroos as that.

For me: Sort out Sagna's contract (I really don't want our back line affected) and sign a forward. I'd also want 2 CBs (I imagine TV will be off), a goal keeper and a left winger. Not too much to ask is it?

Well you never know, I could see Wenger deciding to sell Podolski if a good offer comes in say 10-12 million, and that would make it possible to sign Kroos, because we'd just put Cazorla out wide on the left to take Podolski's place permanently, and so that frees up space for another attacking midfielder.

:D Let's do it, get Kroos, Mandzukic, Draxler, and we will **** everybody in sight, we will **** them so good they will enjoy it.

  13. Maybe he wants a new challenge? Or to play in a more competitive league?

You could ask why Ozil left Real for Arsenal, Suarez with Ajax for Liverpool (CL to no CL), C.Ronaldo from Man Utd to Real (at the time Man Utd were more successful), etc. These deals happen from time to time.

I'd rather you guys got him than Man Utd though. I know we've been mentioned too but I can't see us spending that sort of money on one position.

Why would he join Arsenal over United if he left Bayern? Dont say Champions League, thats the one thing ( and its a complete one off ) arsenal can claim to have over us. More money, more chance of success at United. The things that matter to footballers.

He'd leave to have a chance of winning things and being the main man. hes also not happy that hes one of Bayerns best, most important player whilst also being one of their lower paid players.

    I'll give it a whirl:

1 - Özil, Mertesacker, Gnabry, Podolski and Eisfeld all play for us.

2 - He'd be one of our best players and his wages would reflect that.

3 - We have Arsene Wenger, a universally respected manager.

4 - You have David Moyes as manager.

5 - You have Wayne Rooney in your side.

  20. Surely that's a matter of opinion and would come down to what Kroos thinks?

You think not having CL footy is a blip as did the majority of Liverpool fans in 2009-10. We didn't bounce straight back so why should you? Doesn't mean you won't but its not beyond the realms of reality is it? So as I said, surely it depends on Kroos' opinion?
