Genesis 1.27. "God created man in his image", apparently. Just wondering if He's said the same things to other 'intelligent' beings.

I think it may have been aliens. Or Lord Frith. Or Voldemort. The last two are as likely to exist as God, whereas the first one, mathematically, probably does.

Can you unequivocally prove without doubt that beings on other planets are not referred to as men and are not in gods image?

    Undoubtedly.
I'm not so sure they are, or have ever been, amongst us, Von Daniken style, though.

No. Proving a negative is feasibly impossible, thus why the standard in philosophy and science is to prove something is so/exists. Can you, then, prove that they are made as you espouse?

    DD,

We are dealing here with a cete of night badgers, too shy to formulate their beliefs, answering always in a slanted manner, throwing insults, squirming, diverting, crying.

    Our view is simple:

JESUS: Never was the son of God
BIBLE: contains purely the word of man, primitive and ignorant as he was.
GOD: Never was, never is, and crucially: is not needed.
EVOLUTION: True to its bone. We came from single cells, which came from atom formations.

Their view, on the other hand, is... a mess. Each of their gods resides in a different palace, lays out different guidelines, and has different powers.

And the creator's creator must have a creator. Maybe some god created the first ever creator, then used part of his skeletal structure to create Mrs Creator. And then the Creators created that God, as time doesn't exist for them, so the result can come from the cause without the cause coming first. That said, if you accept that can happen before time exists, you rather take out the need for a creator or god in the first place....

I don't need to prove anything mate, either my faith was right or wrong when the lights go out, the onus is those unbelievers to show not having faith and belief has been worth it for them at the end of their life.

Personally I know where I stand on the issue and I respect those with the opposite view but ridiculing people for believing in god when theres no proof he/it doesn't exist is daft tbf.

Indeed, but ridiculing people for not believing in god because they cannot prove god doesn't exist is a lot dafter, don't you think?

Ridicule is a two way thing, to defend yourself against a critic you might use ridicule when you yourself have been ridiculed.

As I see it everyone has a right to an opinion on the subject and respect from both sides is preferable during a debate than stone throwing.

PMK, you don't even try - and I am not sure why you are on this thread, besides to heckle valid points of this side. At least JB and Dave, god bless them, can formulate a tiny piece of their beliefs. Albeit in a shy slanted manner.

Prove me wrong. Contribute then: What's your view on JESUS, BIBLE, GOD, EVOLUTION?
