Brighton will be without captain Gordon Greer when they host promotion rivals QPR.

Greer serves a one-match ban after he was sent off during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Reading, so Lewis Dunk is poised to make his first Championship start of the season at centre-half.

Midfield duo Dale Stephens (foot) and Andrea Orlandi (thigh) will be assessed after they missed out against the Royals through injury.

Striker Will Hoskins is building up his fitness following a long-term knee injury and will play for the reserves on Monday night along with out-of-favour midfielder Kemy Agustien.

QPR could be without striker Kevin Doyle when they head to Brighton.

Boss Harry Redknapp, who is already without top scorer Charlie Austin due to a shoulder problem, saw Wolves loanee Doyle hobble off towards the end of Saturday's 2-0 win at Birmingham with a knee injury.

Bobby Zamora and Andy Johnson are still short of fitness so January signings Will Keane or Modibo Maiga could be asked to lead the attack.

Niko Kranjcar will be checked over after missing out at the weekend with hamstring trouble but fellow midfielder Ale Faurlin (cruciate), winger Matty Phillips (ankle) and right-back Danny Simpson (back) are still out.

    Ref Watch: Robert Madley

Robert "Bobby" Madley (born 6 October 1985) is an English professional football referee who was promoted in 2013 to the list of Select Group Referees who officiate primarily in the Premier League.
He has officiated in the Football League as a referee since 2010 and is one of the youngest officials to progress to the top-flight of English football. Madley is one of the referee development officers for the West Riding County Football Association. He has also been a fifth official for FIFA since 2012.

In his early career, from 2001, Madley refereed in the Wakefield and District League and then the West Yorkshire Association Football League. In 2010 he joined the National List of referees who officiate in the Football League.
In 2012 Madley was added to the FIFA fifth officials' list.
In April 2013 he took charge of his first Premier League fixture, between Southampton and West Bromwich Albion at St Mary's Stadium.[1] Madley sent off three players during the game, one from each team for violent conduct, and later a second Southampton player for serious foul play.[2] "All three red cards were correct," the West Brom manager Steve Clarke said after the game, which his team won 3-0.[3]
In June 2013 Madley was promoted to the panel of Select Group Referees who officiate all fixtures in the Premier League.

This will be his first time officiating a Rangers game.

Assistants: Steve Child ( Kent ) and John Flynn ( Wiltshire.)

Massive game tonight. A win would stamp home our return to form (ie beating Brum) and also would amount to a win against a top(ish) team, something we desperately need. I went to Brighton v Leeds a few weeks back and saw nothing that should worry us. Not that that means anything.

If anyone hears of a stream for tonight, please stick it on here or a new thread. It'll be midnight in here in Moscow, but I'm up for it. COYRs.

What a fantastic goal, and against Norwich too! Generally he seems to come on as a late sub, hopefully we already have the game won by then.

    Enjoy the match everyone.

We won't catch Burnley (or Leicester). We should be guaranteed play-offs unless we totally collapse. Best we can hope for I think is to find some form going into the play-offs. Wembley, here we come!

Best thing we can hope for is Austin back and no more major injuries.
I can't see us winning without him.

    Anybody take a point tonight?
Think I'd settle for an away draw.
