    Arsenal to win:

    CL 125/1
    PL 22/1
    FA cup 1/2

Nothings certain in football (as shown by Wigan yesterday) but if you dont win the FA Cup it would be a major shock!!

The ****? We showed those teams no respect, hence we lost with lethargic performances, especially the Bradford and Blackburn disasters from last season. We thought we won before we even stepped out onto the pitch because we thought those teams were ****. We need to show Wigan the respect they deserve after their performances in the Cup. If we do that, then I more than confident of an Arsenal win. The times we have shown too much respect have been against teams like Bayern Munich (Ist leg from last season), Manchester City this season and even that United home game a couple of weeks back.

We need to show them respect, by playing to the best of our abilities, not the kind of respect that means bending over for them.

I remember Fabregas talking about showing them the proper respect before we played some no name team before .

    cant remember who it was , Ipswich/Norwich , and i though , what the f**k .?

Other big teams go to these ****holes and knock seven bells out of them .

We go there and "respect " them .
We saw the result of giving City more than they deserved , Wigan have beat them twice by mauling them , we got shafted for SIX goals .

Was that case of too little respect ...or too much ?

This is the point though, when you have fans whinging about Wenger when we're in the KO stages of the CL, 4 points off the top and in the Semi's of the FA cup, you just can't let that sort of negative ****e mongering go unchecked.

    Negative ?

Bradford , Birmingham , Blackburn , took 2 bites to get past the mighty Leyton Orient .

wheres that broom , i need to sweep a load of sh1te under the carpet ...and hope no one remembers it .

Forgive me if i dont congratulate Wenger on the last 8 years of zilch and baffling tactics /purchases/substitutions/excuses .

Its not negativity , just reality .

My point is that you can't have it one way. You are able to slag Wenger off at every opportunity and we are equally within our rights to defend him.

Now go refresh your mascara & black lipstick, you glory hunting mope :p

i find it strange that you keep harking back to worse times .

How long is that going to be relevant to Arsenal today ?

We are living in the age of the premier league .

I dont see any value in talking about the 70s and eighties...so i dont.

So wanting a team to succeed makes someone a glory seeker. Jeez, you really are as stupid as you appear.

Thats the name of the game you'd think? There is nothing more than Arsenal winning something, especially under Wenger, that us mopey ol glory hunters want. It would prove that his philosophy of playing good football under the right circumstances worked. People can dress it up all they want, winning nothing for over 8 years is a footballing failure that needs to end soon.

Nobody is being negative here we are all happy to be in the semis. This now gives us our best chance of silverware in 10 seasons and if we fail then there are no xcuses and its just not good enough.
