It seems like Pulis was right about Myler. I was a big fan and gutted when he and Cambell were released by Mon what a numpty, but after yesterday he is just another cheating t**t, theres plenty of them but if the manager is the same what do you expect.
Don't know what you base that assumption on. Hull City took over 6,000 (an away record) to Newcastle on a Wednesday night for the Carling/Worthington/Coca Cola/League Cup when Hull were the bottom club in the entire Football League and they were top of the Premier League. I doubt if there is a club in the land who could have done that after enduring 25 years of ****e like we had to put up with. I'm talking Hull City, mind. Good luck to the Mackems for the rest of the season.
Away support aye, these lads on this board know a thing or two about away support, i'm guessing some of their figures may blow your mind, ask them about the season in the old third division, and how many travelled each week. You quote one game, these lads did it for a whole season, and then every season afterwards.
Does anyone know who the Sunderland fans were who Steve Bruce donated his League Cup Final tickets too ? Wasn't you was it ?
I know. Sunderland always brought thousands to Boothferry Park in the 70's. Actually Hull City know a thing or two about the old Third Division because we spent so much time in it. We broke records home and away under Raich Carter and again in 65/66, not just broke records, shattered them. To be fair I know Villa did the same and I didn't even know Sunderland had been in the 3rd div ! I've been travelling away with Hull for 50 years mate, sometimes there has been less then a bus load and others, like Sheffield Wednesday on a Tuesday night a few years back, tens of thousands. I wish Hull was a one club city like yours. Anyhow that's it from me, good luck for the rest of the season, seriously.
The prospect of Bruce winning a trophy with Hull fills me with dread. He would drone on until the crack of doom about how it would have been us, if only we hadn't sacked him for being crap (sorry, a geordie). Fark, I can hear him now: "there would be a statue of me outside the Sol, but because I'm a geordie..." The horror and tedium of it beggars belief
I wasn't a huge fan, but he was solid enough and I didn't know what he'd done to warrant a transfer. But he sure is a cheating twat and the worst of it is I now feel a tiny twinge of sympathy for Pardew. Eurrgh. I think I need a shower...
I have nothing against Bruce and I was one who welcomed him I am ****ing sick and tired of hearing by the press and punters he was sacked for being a Geordie he was sacked because of poor signings and poor results which would have resulted in relegation that season Where was Bob Stokoe from I wonder and a statue of him stands proudly outside the ground
'Well, you knOw, I just needed time to gel, thats for sure.' Professional geordies place a weird emphasis when using words like 'know'.
Getting beat in the FA Cup did hurt because let's be honest your team is ****. anyway good luck in selling out wembley.
"Dim" doesn't even begin to describe you does it, Baz? You're not even "Nice but..." dim; you're just a **** and dim
I'm a **** with money & power what the **** have you got? bet you living in a ****hole of a house in hull.
