Times report Jose reps speak to Arsenal

I think we'll get 4-6mil due to his contract being up in a year.

I won't be upset if he goes to arsenal.

 

Even though he only has a year to go, I'd be dissapointed not to get at least £6m.

 

This. His technical ability is very good & he'll suit there style of play(pass, move, pass, etc).

 

There is no way wenger will let kieran gibbs be sold! He rates him highly. Problem is that hes injury prone! Gibbs looks class but for some strange reason seems to get injured in every game he plays! Jose enrique could be a good option to have until gibbs gets his fitness problems right. Good competition

With clichy going heard he could go to Newcastle part exchange etc (Clichy is a terrific left back just needs a new challenge. Ever since that birmingham game where eduardo go injured he hasnt been the same player!) Clichy would be amazing at newcastle i reckon

 

really hope he see's the new signings coming in and thinking things are looking up and gives us another year or two , most fans seem resigned to the fact hes leaving which would be such a shame !
although if he has to go to another pl team arsenal would be the best choice

 

Surely Gibbs would have his first team chances severely restricted at Arsenal? Not just because of Jose. Wenger prefers foreigners and the current Arsenal team will be overloaded with English players (Wilshere and Walcott). Surely it's beyone any compreshension that Wenger would want three in the starting line up so we have a chance

 

What happened with Liverpool? I thought Liverpool well according to P thompson enrique to Liverpool was a done deal!

 

Don't Understand why people have a go at Enrique, he has been awesome and can't really blame him for not signing new contract yet, I wouldn't! some of the same people laud Leon Best, not sure what planet some of you lot are on....

Kieran gibbs would have been our first choice left back if he stayed fit!

Look Wenger had this 10-15 year plan for producing English players and 2 years ago we won the fa youth cup with about 10 Englishmen.

You will see very soon quite a few british lads break through that are top top quality.

We have signed 19 right back Carl jenkinson from Charlton wenger does give british players a chance!
