That whenever we sign a good player, for free most of are fellow fans here on the wonderful plain of Not606 have a heart attack?

We just signed a brilliant player on a free transfer which brings us to three brilliant signings for very little money. And the first thing we get is "Well..why haven't we spent much money?" well the answer is "We don't have to!" I'd rather have players on the cheap who I know will preform over two very expensive players who might have been a massive failure.

Would you rather have £3.5 million down the drain or £29 million down the drain..I know my answer..

Now that I've said that, I'm going to completely turn around!

    Charlie Insomnia - £10 million
    Erdinc - £8 million*

And this would have been a great great window! HWTL

*Unless we've already spoke numbers and I haven't heard them yet!

I think its great, the more frees we get the more likely we may splash 10mil on nzog.

I love what's happened recently. Freeing up wages from sol, smith, nolan etc and replacing them with younger, lower earners.

Please, please sign the zog and play him on the right.

You've forgotten Barnetta £10 million- that would be £28 million and we would have a quality team

Can't say I know enough about this bloke to say he is a 'brilliant player', but it seems like a good bit of business even if he is just a sqaud player as we really need a winger.

Completely agree, even if he is gash we just have to pay his wages which I doubt will be a great amount.

He's fast paced and technically talented. He'll give Gutierrez some serious trouble in keeping his place. Which in my eyes, is very important! Jonas tends to look rather stale and tired after a bit of time, so cover (and good cover at that) is exactly what is needed. Well done Pardew!

He looks and plays like Routledge - this might be the time for him to leave

Why is everyone talking about wingers and strikers when we need defenders as well. Yes we need some flair but IMO we need CB cover, new first choice LB, LB cover, and maybe a RB thats better than Simpson. Then 1 winger and 1 pacy striker. Dont think it will happen though. 9 transfers in one window would be crazy.

someone posted a vid on here of him and to say he's a left winger i'm not so sure as for the whole vid he was playing more central just behind the striker (ben arfa's role)

There's plenty of time to get a few defenders in. We're probably a bit stuck until Jose decides what he's doing (99.9% going) and if anything happens with Colo. That'll massively affect how much we need to spend on defenders.

I think Erdinc for 7mil, then someone like M'Bengue to replace Enrique for about 7mil as well, we'll still spend plenty this summer.

    Think it'll be a bit more to be honest(transfer fees.. 10mil for Erdinc & M'Bengue 8m), but I'll have them 2 in a flash! :)

    £8m + Best for Zog
    £8m for Erdnic
    £1m for Taylor
Then we can use the money from other transfers to bring replacements in.

There's not much wrong with him and he does a solid job defensively but if we signed a couple of strikers I would think he'd be our weakest player and we may need better right backs if we are going to push for europe. Thats not to say I would sell him, and I think a right back would be my last priority (after our 3 current signings my priorities would be: ST,LB,CB,RM,RB).
