The advantage of being single and childless is you don't have to succumb to the pressure of owning a few bricks and mortar becasue it's supposed to be the right thing to do and gives you some security etc etc.. I intend to leave the world as i came into it - with absolutely eff all.
Bought my current gaff in 2007 just to coincide with the crash and the ****ing things only just breaking out of negative equity.
Could not have put it better myself Dan. People are far too interested in material gains and not enough love and compassion towards their fellow human beings.
The worst is when you go to a funeral and you see all the vultures working out how much they could inherit if the house was sold - and they don't care about putting some poor sod onto the street in order to achieve it. I don't think i could do that.
If you don't own your property you have to rent from someone else, who will then be living off your labour. I rent out 3 properties now to tenants, 2 of which are mortgaged. At the current rate in 15 years time they will all be mortgage free and I could probably live off the rents - other people will literally have to go to work to pay to borrow an asset that I hold, and I'll be living off this labour from other people. Not that I particularly think the system is fair, but it's there - and if you don't take things into your own hands by trying to acquire your own assets then you will always be paying money to rent other people's assets - and therefore doing their work for them.
It's disgusting which is why you are right to not leave anything behind and save the ignominy of family squabbling over who gets what. ****in' parasites. I am going to leave my money to research into the eradication of ****ification and mug runching Millie Tants. Someone needs to think of the ****s and lesbos.
After the revolution people will only be allowed one home. We will take your properties and give them to less fortunate souls as part of the redistribution of wealth policy.
If everyone took things into their own hands and acquired their own assets then people like you wouldn't be able to own 3 houses and rent them out as there would be nobody to pay rent. Not that I'm criticising by the way- good luck to you I like the flexibility of renting and it's nigh on impossible to buy a place in London on your own.
No point in trying to buy a house in London, it's all going to go horribly wrong soon and loads of ****s will lose out. Am going to freestyle my life, then hopefully move to an island somewhere and build myself a mud hut. I pity people like Mick
It'd take me about 30 years of saving to go halves on a deposit for a ****ty 2-bed flat. Unless you want to share a bedsit Dan?
