    Silly ****.

Allam's a twat and his desire for a no good reason name change is BS.

If 4 and 5 year olds taking selfies in the goalmouth along with the wheelchair bound and pre-pubescent girls is passion against the name-change, then I'm ****ing Chinese.

    It was small-time hysterics.

League position, cup success and exposure are what will drive the club forward.

    No name change required.

Why do you keep burbling on as though the people running on the pitch was a name change thing? Some could have been, but most clearly were not. <doh>

Saw that. What a dick. His fellow stewards will be pulling his leg for years. Probably the 'they won't get by me, you watch' type.

I assume that all people on the pitch at the end will be traced on cctv and give stadium bans?

I think they'll have an amnesty for the chubby ones lined up around the penalty area with their arms folded.

Newland, you are missing the point mate. The lads deserved to be applauded off the pitch. The lads usually applaude the fans then leave the pitch but because of a load of twats, plastics and CTWD ****s that mutual appreciation was denied to people who follow, support and even love the club. Nobody stopped me applauding today except that the only people on the pitch were not supposed to be there.

Magnificent stuff from the police and stewards on the pitch after the game. With the N Stand deserted, the police (50 0r 60 odd) formed a large arc around the N stand penalty area. Beyond them a line of 60 odd stewards formed a hi viz frontline keeping the warring thugs oops I mean non existent away fans and happy kids and teens of the home fans apart,

I can see the FA docking us points for this and a possible fine/ground closure.

A small group of Sunderland fans made a token posture of running onto the pitch, but stood bouncing behind the stewards. One of them got through and then obviously didn't have a clue what to do, so ran round in circle and back to his pals. Had anyone genuinely wanted to get past, the stewards were useless.

The best way to make revenue would be to have more success on the pitch, FA cup semi finalists along with premier league survival is the perfect way to make more money for the club and to become self sustaining, not changing the name.

A steward in west lower next to me took a can of coke from a kid that must have been about 8 without explaining why. The parents of the group of kids must have been elsewhere and he started to cry because he thought that he was in trouble. Meanwhile a group of four Mackems vocally supporting Sunderland were left well alone. Our stewarding is a ****ing disgrace.

Not really. The CTWD flag was raised with scarves held aloft while singing CTID in the direction of Allam. But it's hardly the case that CTWD orchestrated a pitch invasion as some on this thread seem desperate to believe.

I don't see how you equate the two things , some people went on the pitch , I have no idea of their views on certain topics or how long they have been following the club

edit to say at least they turned up today , we had 5000 empty seats

The best thing for me about going to Wembley that weekend in April is it coincides with my cancer diagnosis 4 years ago on April 8th 2010. That first weekend was one I hope no-one ever has to endure. Now 4 years later I get to see little old always the bridesmaid never the bride Hull City playing in the semi-final of the FA cup, with a real possibility of winning a trophy or maybe play in Europe. I get to see it with friends and family and I will enjoy every single moment of it. Just go and enjoy the experience people.
