Has anyone noticed this from Phil Buckingham? Ticket details for Wembley to come in due course but both clubs will be allocated around 31,000 #scramble
Surely fans that have travelled to away games regardless of wether its the cup or not should get some sort of priority over the 10000 folk that forget about rugby league for 1 day (hopefully 2 days)
I'm not sure anyone gives one whether you've climbed Mount Everest or not in your effort to prove you're a bigger fan than everyone else. The tickets will go on sale next week. I'm sure you'll get whatever you want.
I can see them doing something stupid like saying if you haven't applied for a semi-final ticket you'll get lower priority for the Final, then you'll get everyone applying for the semi, with loads selling them on because they can't afford both for themselves.
I couldn't give a toss where I'm sat, as long as I'm there. I was 2 rows from the top in 2007, couldn't see a flaming thing but I was just ecstatic to be at Wembley cheering the boys on. For £30 I'd bring the binoculars out again!
ofcourse, i'd hope i get a better ticket than the top row, i'm going for the bottom tier but .. i'd go if i was sat on the moon.. i mean we'd all rather be on the actual pitch
the older i've got, the more passionate i've felt about our club, whether i moved away ( like yourself) i'd be happy to be anywhere in the stadium (even in the sheff end).. it's incredible the way it makes the body feel for me, not the wembley game, but any.. then again, i am a very very emotional fellow, i just absolutely love seeing city play, it's strange, ( i was only 16 in the play off final, , due to my young age, and being drunk, i randomly started crying in the last few minutes, i've never had such an experience before, and one could question.. surely there's more important matters.. but for one word and another.. i went into bubbling tears, and 6 years later, this club is the sunshine to the bad days during the week.. god i love it!
I'm with you mate. I had a tear in my eye at the final whistle today (my girlfriend thinks I'm terrifically sad). From seeing us in administration/locked out in '01 to seeing where we are now is unbelievable. That Wembley ticket to me is like Gold dust (not the wrestler). Still feels like a weird dream thinking Hull City are 2nd favourites to win the FA Cup... odd.
i wish i had a girlfriend to experience it with but that's what football is about... most people i know can't understand it, i can't understand it myself tbh, it's magical.. i don't give a f**k whatever division we are in, but no one can deny it feels f**king good right now! a yorkshire derby at wembley, 80k people from yorkshire travelling to wembley! it's what dreams are made of! i just wish city had a more passionate fan base.. we have the population of norwich/sunderland... i just hope the ****s that i know who ridicule us, don't go, i'm in dream mode personally!
Got a bit emotional on the train to Uni this morning as I typed up a report on the game for a Sports website I'm associated with. I just don't think other supporters understand how much this means to our club.
For the record I'm wearing my City shirt at Uni today, and will do the same if/when we win the Semi, and the same if/when we win the Final.
my first city shirt i got for a birthday, has the likes of justin whittle signed it... i've tried to keep it in immuclate condition, i'm more emotional about the fact it still fits me
I got all teary eyed when the third goal went in today, probably because I knew then that we'd done it then - made the semis of the FA Cup - made Wembley oh it's just absolutely unbelievable.
