I bet it's quiet on here tonight, as we won so no one can moan. So here's some things to help the miserable ones We failed to keep a clean sheet We was lucky to get that own goal Other teams around us won. The sun is out today The grass was to long Lee Johnston And one for my mate Redprint Gillett was playing
When we win, most people go out and have a few beers, so don't look at N606. When we lose we are all too miserable to leave the house. Unfortunately for me, the wife is skiing at the moment so it's me and three kids. But I will be opening some cans to celebrate 2 wins on the spin. Come on you reds
Here's some good facts for us all...... When Joe Bryan score's last we win... We have lost only once in the last 6 games.... We have lost only once at home since December 15th We have lost only 4 league games in 2014 We are on a winning run of 2 games.... JET and Baldock are officially the deadliest strike force in league 1 We are 17th and now 3 points from the relegation zone Happy Days please log in to view this image
Yeah, good win for the City today, but let's not get too excited, we are still deep in trouble towards the relegation zone for League 2.. Let's hope the players gain confidence from the win today.. I see Ole GJ did well again today, not bad with what budget he's had to work with!
I'm still here, just waiting for the Saturday evening bolognaise to mature. Not so easy to comment fully on the performance of individuals and really upsetting for me that we cannot ever seem to keep a clean sheet, but any win away from home is gratefully accepted. Plus some others went for us today and some didn't. As I posted yesterday, that our bench looked a lot stronger and we still have Liam Kelly to start his comeback. Just one down side today. I spent ten years living in Shrewsbury, regularly seeing six to ten games a season and along with Livingston where I also lived for a time, The Shrews is the first result I look for when they are playing. I really hope they manage to stay up.
Confidence- Seen in abundance at Sheff Utd at present- Hope we can turn this winning run into something like theirs. JET back scoring too-Peterborough in mixed form and I reckon we can get at least a point there on Tuesday-
Evening RODney, Glad we won on the road. As for Gillett - on last weeks performance he deserved to stay in the team. Just hope the prat Wagstaff doesn't get back in this season - or ever. Is that miserable enough ?
In Washington Dc with the kids for spring break. Glorious day here and was watching my phone all morning whilst snapping photos of the Whitehouse. So happy when I saw the result that I forgot how annoyed I was yesterday when the wife lost the camera in the Museum of Natural History.....never trust girls from Gate I guess...
I bet, Chelsea to win Arsenal to win Man utd to win Bristol City to win Weston super mare to win. Wolves to win. And Derby to win... every ****in week there is one team....
Dont comment on the football I dont go to. Reason I didnt go yesterday are the dog performances Cotterill has put out on the road. Will be at Rotherham with a lot of ex regular away travellers. Its up to Cotterill to turn the exs into regulars. Identity of his team and the tactics of Cotterill have to change. Maybe yesterday was the start but most away games have been a waste of money. It was only one game.
Morning Banksy, you're right. Last week I had a £10 acc - 5 correct and fu**ing Reading couldn't beat 8 man Yeovil.
I don't bet I'm rubbish at it. I come from a family that regularly bet on horses and what ever moves. So I've seen what it does to people. Any way Wales v England today, I'm off to Cardiff for a jolly, client taking me for free food and as much lager as I can get done me huge screen to watch 30 men go to war.
Reading couldn't beat 8 man Yeovil. That was one of several that let me down last week.. I don't bet heavy ROD just a few quid for fun on an odd acca or first goal scorer, I cant get one in lately.
That's a pity. We have done OK at Shrewsbury and Leyton Orient recently. We got a decent draw at Oldham and also at Bradford (a point away is a point gained). We got beaten by a Sheffield United team who are on a rampage at the moment, and to the top 2 in the division currently, Wolves and Brentford. They are the only games we have lost on the road since December 1st. A fantastic performance by a manager who was clearly told "we must not get relegated". He is getting results. Most people on here would gladly swop results for fancy football at this point in time.
