    How did he put me in my place? He said he had been to the Man Utd cup game and hundreds more. We were talking about cup games so that was why I said it was hyperbole as since 1949 we haven't played hundreds of cup games.
    Lots of us have been to hundreds of games. Just means we are older codgers than others.

    No we weren't talking about cup games. I was talking about the first game I went to ...which was the Man U. cup game in 1949, but mentioned I'd been to hundreds of others (games...not cup games). Obviously I haven't been to hundreds of cup games. Has anyone????
