Then you literally can't say anything, not even the positive brigade who always have something good to say and a positive spin to everything, it's win or bust.

Bah, nobody said City were a bad side just because they lost to Wigan last year (or this!).

    Still....I'd be reet p*ssed off.

your only excuse (City) is not there anymore. You should be shoo-in for the cup.

And even with them knocked out, no one can say we've had an easy ride (Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton)

Arsenal should win it, but Wigan or who ever gets to the final aren't going to just roll over for you guys:biggrin:

Wigan will be a very tough to beat in the semi's. They will be up for it, for sure! We'll need to be at our best and then some, to win it. And who knows what will happen in the final. Far from decided.

We should do it, but for me it depends on Ramsey and his form going into the semi-finals and potentially the final. I know people say it's only Wigan, but the Welshmen makes a huge difference to us and gives an extra goal threat and makes Ozil play better. Just hope he can come back, stay fit and find his form again.

We are red hot favourites to win the cup now. If we don't win this then this would be an epic fail for Wenger.

Wenger should really **** off if we don't win the FA cup.

This coming from a guy who usually makes up excuses for him, saying we'd be in for a tough few years after Wenger leaves(which even if true, we'll have to sometime).

If we **** this one up, we need a deep cleansing, as a team with such a history of failure and bottle jobs would be unlikely to do anything worthy of mention anymore. The 'loser' in us will have set in too deep.

After getting rid of Wenger we'd need to devise some kind of litmus test for the rest of the players... say we show some traumatic footage to them and get rid of the ones that break or get teary eyed. <laugh>

Seriously though, this is where I draw the line for Wenger.

I have not seen the game, fell asleep soon as I made my silly prediction, however them beating the citeh would have been no fluke... Hope our manager would have noticed that and will not try anything silly for that game. If they can beat citeh, they can beat us, we have to TURN Up!
Did citeh play badly, or we're they just unlucky? Funny old game football eh? Imagine if we had been dumped out by Wigan today.... Fans would have been calling for Wenger's head!

Wigan need to be respected. They are the current holders and they just knocked out City in their own backyard, with an excellent performance. We are favourites, but let's not pretend that Wigan are there to be beaten or something. I hope our players do not take the approach that some of our fans seem to be taking ahead of this game.

If he had won the CoC just a few weeks ago, and with the games in hand among the favourites to win the league? Don't think anyone would be calling for his head in that scenario.

But we will be calling for his head in our situation, and rightly so. You have to draw the line somewhere.

City were extremely unlucky but that's not to take away from Wigan's outstanding defending.

In a way, this is the best and worst result for Arsene. Had City of won, and we lost to them in the semis, I don't think many fans would be too upset at Arsene. But now we have Wigan, the pressure is all on Arsene but the path to a trophy has been alleviated alot more.
