    And they wonder why teams value the League Cup less.

    Think they should say FA Cup gets you qualification to the Group stage of EL. League Cup gets you to 3rd Qualifying stage and then 5th place get's you entered into the early qualifications stages. Give the runners up the EL spots if the winner is already in the CL.

    Make the Cup's more important than finishing 5th in the league <ok>
