FA Cup Semi-Final Draw: Hull City v Sheffield United Tie to be played Saturday 12th or Sunday 13th April. Ticket details and everything else tbc during the week.
Sean Wright-Phillips I ****ing love you!!!! Make no mistake boys and girls we are witnessing the best season in our history and we're one game away from Europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If we play Arsenal in the final and they finish in CL place do we get the place in the Europa League which is allocated to the winners of the FA Cup?
And the same if Man City get through. The only way either us or Sheff Utd arent in Europe is if Wigan win.
for me these are the top two teams of Yorkshire - obviously as a City man Hull City is a given , but as for the Blades ive always had respect for the club - especially i i consider the Owls as a bit of a carnival club . Should be a great day out
Great draw, but i just can't wait to go to Wembley again. I didn't think we would do it once but twice in six years why not!
If Wigan get through that would've been a much better draw. They'd take about 6000 to Wembley whereas vs the Blunts it'll be a real ticket scramble.
Hmm, going to be very tough, Sheffield United have already proven that they can beat teams in higher League's, and they've gone on a great run in the League; taking them from near the bottom to just off the play-offs. AND there's always the fact that they are one of our infamous bogey teams... Although Bruce has seemed to start breaking some of our old hoodoo's.
I'll be with you in spirit for the SF but dammit if we make the Final i'll tell the doctors to go to hell and get on that plane. NOTHING is going to stop me being there to see us raising that FA CUP high for the first time in our history. That would beat even "Deano Day" as the most exciting day in my life. "Come on U 'Ull"!!!
Whatever happens, it will be the first time a Yorkshire club reaches the FA Cup final in 21 years...unless we count Boro as a Yorkshire club, then it's still 17 years. As an aside, do we considr Boro a Yorkshire club...or more importantly, do they consider themselves a Yorkshire club?
