I'm not sure we would get banned next season. I think they want to bring in FFP slowly. http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/financial-fair-play-explained.php
Lineker summed it up well on Twitter. He sees the FFP rules being as strict as the Fit and Proper Persons test so evidently is... (spoiler: it's not. Basically any tom dick and harry is allowed to run a football club, despite the background checks they claim to do)
They cannot - at this moment in time - be separated. And then - Hull City AFC, winners of the 2014 FA Cup, will no longer exist.
which distracting are you referring to Billy, the one before the game (had no adverse reaction on the players) or the one after which leaves a bitter and nasty taste in the mouth as instead of us all talking about the scoreline, the performance of the players, the fact Bruce must now be our best ever manager, no we have a numpty having to bring up the name change. I don't even think Obi or OLM would ever envisage Allam making a name change comment in the few hours after the game has finished
Do all you 'Allam boys' not realise and accept that is performance on the pitch, and in competitions, that will give us the high profile? Not Hull Tigers...
The best thing is, we'll win it. Don't care about what name, could be hull stingrays on the trophy for all I care, but the team I support through thick and thin will have won the sodding FA cup!
For ****s sake, we've just reached only our 2nd F.A. Semi in our history and the name change has been brought up again. Just enjoy the day and look forward to Wembley. I'm against the change but today isn't the time to have discussions/arguements about it............enjoy the day fellas.
Get over the name change business. Its out of our hands at the moment so have no Idea why its even being brought up at all at this point. Enjoy the day instead of squabbling like children.
We have enjoyed the day, its been a fantastic afternoon in our history, buried the ghost of Waggy etc, fantastic draw against the old enemy, but you have to realise the name change is not going away and we don't want Hull Tigers engraved on the FA Cup thanks.
