Never...hardly a Rivaldo moment, was it? We rattled his cage, he's always been hot-headed. You'd think after three sendings off in our previous two encounters this season you'd avoid putting a candidate for Clare's Law on the pitch. As always, best of luck for Prem survival.
Cattermole is a decent player, if he sticks to what he's good at. He gets a rush of blood and suddenly thinks he's Paul Scholes. He's the last player who I'd expect to bottle the challenge that led to our goal. Either way, you get to concentrate on the league now. You'll do alright, especially with your following.
He didn't make a proper challenge because of your players getting him booked in the first half, no use in him getting sent off Good luck in your semi, you've definitely been handed a nice draw. Up to you now, win and you've got Europe (which isn't necessarily a good thing)
He was outstanding best midfielder on the pitch prior to the way you players went on. His reputation gets him in trouble. Proven by elmo and aluko attempts to get him booked. Both should've been booked for diving. Neither was? Would have no complaints if someone injured Elmo after his cheating against us this season. No better a bloke than Syarez or Ashley Young. Huddlestone challenge was far worse than cattermoles. But I guess as our players didn't try to influence the ref he only got a yellow! Not saying nothing was deserved as we were terrible second half but your cheating put paid to our best player in the first half
No problem with the things you present as facts, more the sentiment behind it - but you lost, so it's natural to feel a bit sour. Having said that, I was amazed that your team, chock full of Argies and Italians as it is, didn't do more to try and win the match by nefarious, swarthy means. For that I commend you.
Pointless. You, like your ilk, basically commending your playersattempts to get another professional sent off. No real surprise. Absolute fact that Elmo and Aluko both dived when near Cattermole today. Also fact that your players surrounded the ref after Cattermole committed a nothing foul. It are you arguing these?
i would be celebrating on my own board with my own fans me like just saying...................................
Not really - can't say I wholly agree with you but I'm not disputing your claim. Again, it's the sentiment. Every time we've beat you this season some of you have had a moan about some factor that prevented you from winning the match, conveniently forgetting that football is a game of contingency played and officiated by fallible human beings. Advantages are played, deal with it. I think the problem is that Cattermole's career has been marked with so many unprofessional displays of vitriol and stupidity that trying to get him sent off is almost a moral imperative.
I'm celebrating, but I also have the ability to open multiple tabs on my internet browser. It's the future.
