I seem to recall some of the more informed members of the forum say we wouldn't be excluded - hope not anyway

what was the problem with poyet and the stewards in the tech area, abit of pushing and shoving going on, lots of finger pointing and verbal's with the head stewart.

On this day in 1999, we lost 2-0 to Cambridge United and was 23rd in Division Four.

I thought Sagbo had one of his better games but Brucey brought him off, and brought Gyppo George on who was nothing short of excellent. That run down the right taking the piss out of Bardsley was superb.
Aluko was nothing short of ****e.
Fryatt shoulda had a penalty second half, O'Shea had hold of him.

I was genuinely worried about today but Sunderland were very poor. Christ we are a good team, we look comfortable in the premier league.

Agree with a lot of this but I thought Sagbo was a bit ****. What did he do today? He scored the vital equaliser at Brighton but apart from that what's he done in the last 3 months? He seems to be incredibly ineffective from out wide.

    aluko...

there was a chance in the first half I THINK.. i'm a tad pissed..

he ran from the right across the pitch.. figgy was in acres of space ( i know it's figgy.. ) but still the pass was the better option, but instead aluko decided to shoot a shot my 5 yr old son wouldn't be proud of ( and he doesn't ****ing exist.. i think), again in the second half, he did a few ****e shots from the edge of the box that did **** all... it's clear he's got brilliant technical skill.. but his mind is the problem for me, he's been pretty medicore compared to before he got injured...

Fryatt was fantastic for his goal. He seemed to be expecting a back pass because he ran in front of their goalkeeper. If he was just getting in a better position he would have run across and kept onside but he would have only gone where he did in anticipation of a back pass.

his mind is not with it, it will take him a few games to get up to speed, I wonder if it's worth SB risking him in the FA cup semi or the final (if we get there).

As he wasn't on the bench, I assume injury. If so, anyone know what the problem is?
