Without being flippant, I don't care who wins this as it means the losers are effectively gone. Col is beginning to sound like SAF talking about 'this young team'. England showed unbelievable determination and ba•ls last week against us. I think it will be a tight match but IF Wales bring their A game, it should be too much for England. Wales play the beautiful game but England are still lacking real quality out wide. I know they have a young developing team but IMO they don't have anywhere near enough creativity to threaten at next years World Cup. They have to find a top-class 13 and 14 to compliment Brown at 15 who has real potential.
I have absolutely no confidence in Twelvetrees. There must be some bigger wingers in England than this pair, the Welsh giants dwarf them. Bad decision making by North Twelvetrees just proves how much I know about rugby football, great tackle.
He's relatively sound defensively, the point I'm making is that at least one of your centres should have creative hands. They're both bashers and IMO they won't win a World Cup with those centres. Look what Basterau is doing to the French. Everything in the middle of the field is 'up the jumper' stuff. They're wingers could have a cup of tea during the game.
Welsh making some very surprising errors and don't seem as fired up as usual against us. Then again they usually get it right in the second half. England need some points while we are having so much of the ball.
You can see the game structure already. Wales trying to move the English pack around the field as quickly as possible to tire them out. England bashing through the middle.
England's defensive coach has earned his corn. The defensive line is brilliant. Wales will need a spark of genius to get in behind.
That's three times already that an English back has been totally isolated and turned over. If this continues Halfpenny will kick Wales to victory
If we keep on giving penalties at the breakdown, could be. But English back defensive line looking strong, I just doubt we can keep it up the whole game without a points cushion.......ha! which we are now getting!!!
England the much better team in the 1st half, but inexperience is presenting Halfpenny with too many penalties. England may well live to regret those. England should be 14 points ahead instead of just 5!!
Wales will not kick so much possession away in the 2nd half. I expect them to take the game to England and get on top.
