Strange game, odd reffing, no atmosphere at Murrayfield (at least on the telly). The Irish should stuff the French if they turn up playing like this, but who knows with them? Their line outs are a joke today.
The French look like the Scots and the Scots look like the French in those kits, but the Jocks are growing in confidence and throwing it around nicely now...
I was going to ask why the Jocks are playing in their second strip at home? Very strange game this one
The Irish must be rubbing their hands at the prospect of facing this French team, they look very poor...
This game is doing my head in, so much stupidity, its like U14s. No control. Richie Gray is like a dinosaur, takes 10 seconds for instructions from his brain to reach his limbs. Oddly fascinating.
Unlikely as it sounds but 5 teams could end up on 6pts by the end of the tourny. Scots win tonight, Wales beat England, England beat Italy, Scots beat Wales, France beat Ireland. All very possible...although maybe the Scots beating Wales being the weak link.
England v Wales, are we ready for this. The Welsh line up looks incredibly strong, packed out with Lions, but will the version which was so spineless in Dublin turn up? Whatever the result, great experience for an England team which is still a work in progress, but showing real promise. I fancy Wales in the centres and wings, Halfpenny v Brown a big match up. Really looking forward to this.
Reluctantly I have to agree. Sitting here with a Welsh wife and Wales supporting kids, it could get fiesty. Thankfully my son is heavily hung over, having dragged himself home at 4 this morning still celebrating his 18th this week, which is a bonus.
Barely any sunlight gets on the Twickenham pitch because of the height of the stands. I've stayed at the hotel built into the stadium, got a peek at the pitch one evening, covered in massive arc lights to help the grass grow. They have the same problem at the Sn Siro, but haven't solved it nearly as well.
