he seems mightily pi$$ed dont he. Would like to see him name names . When he says , some he would count on and some he wouldnt . Remarkably honest , way out of character for a football manager.
thought it was great that Spuds spend £120 million in the summer and none of their signings actually started today. what a waste of money.
wtf does that supposed to mean. this is a laugh at spurs thread. i was pointing out that spurs spend loads of money and then they don't even make the starting 11. hans get a sense of humour and stop being so morose ffs
Sherwood didn't spend that money, so clearly he doesn't feel as keen on those players as Boas did, there problem solved. Grow up.
imo you are the one that needs to grow up. try having a laugh sometimes and you might actually enjoy life. thats how normal people live.
Sherwood has this thing called AMITA, that he used throughout managing our youth team. Attitude is More Important Than Ability. That's why he's reacting as he is, as he wants players to always show the right attitude and character, especially when we're struggling in a game..
If he truly believed that then he shouldn't have loaned out Holtby, a player he described as having fantastic attitude but not good enough ability wise for Spurs. I'd also not start the likes of 'bayor if I wanted 'heart' and effort. TBH though I watched the game and thought both teams poor. An error caused after a slip, a pen/ red card given when neither should have been followed by two more moments of madness. Without those I couldn't see how Chelsea were going to score. Even the goals they scored were nearly fluffed. So fooking annoying. At half time I was convinced it was ending up 0-0.
I liked Holtby but he was fairly hopeless in the league for us. Looked a different player in Europe but his passing was so off key in the league, he just wasn't the same player so he wouldn't have made much difference. As for the game, we clearly set out to play for a draw or scrape a win, fair enough as its near on impossible to go to Stamford Bridge and win, as they have never lost under Mourinho at home, and to be fair to Sherwood, the gameplan was working but players lost the plot, stupid errors and an unfair red card. We gifted them the win but the reason there has been a massive over reaction is because we have been thumped by City, Liverpool, West Ham and now Chelsea, when that shouldn't be happening.
Up until the time you conceded the penalty you were looking quite solid, even after going 1-0 down in the match. After the red card the players collapsed mentally. 3 goals in about 30 minutes says it all.. think Sherwood is right personally.
Doing that once is understandable but we have conceded 3 times in the final 30 mins of a match on 5 occasions this season....west ham, city, lpool, city and yesterday...no wonder this thread keeps going!
getting rid of arry was a disaster , he was not far off a good , consistent team . Levy is the corpse that Spurs are shackled to...
I imagined this when I read what you wrote
