Would four times at Wembley in one year be a record? Admittedly it's a tall order but it's poss. A league cup final, a FA semi & Final plus the Community shield. Don't know mate, has no one ever won both cups? I don't think the semi's should be played at wembley.
Agree totally about the semis. That's our little FA having to pay the Germans back for financing the deal. Would still be nice to be in the history books for it tho.
The semi finals were not played at Wembley in those days though so max would be 3 i think. Although i think Man City will get 4 times this year before us!
Ah of course, fair point - it was before the FA had to sell its soul to pay off an expensive stadium? Trying to think about European finals at Wembley as well but can't think of any teams who have played Wembley four times in a year. I guess you just need an FA cup winner who made the league cup final in the last 10 years.
