As soon as he takes over he has stopped it,its the GHF hangers on who are taking the 1 million a month.
You sure Cellino still wants to buy Leeds ? hmmmmm.... There was me thinking the players are under the impression they arnt gonna get paid this month so why bother hope im wrong cos id hate to lose 6 points over it
Ristac did you even go to the game today? I don't know what Dougies on bout...we were miles better in midfield. Nearly 60% possession, 19 shots and 12 corners. They killed us on the break counter-attacking our defence was awful...maybe if we had played MZ instead of Wotton the result would of been very different. Most our attack played well today (McCormack, Murphy, Wickham and Austin been the highlights). Just before McCormacks free kick they were dancing bout trying to get the ball of us. Today's game was long spells of possession by us followed by quick counter attacks which most often resulted in a goal by them. Austin was all over them today tackling, getting possession, passing it bout same for Murphy who looked very energetic weaving in and out of them. Can't help feeling if I was an attacker today I'd be mighty pissed off with our defenders. Get Pearce and MZ in defence BM.
Seven (couldn't think of any more) reasons to keep him. 1) Nobody who you could realisticlly replace him with. 2) He's proven to take sides to the PL. 3) He's put an average side in with a play-off shout with a handful of games to go. 4) He's got the best out of McCormack. Something nobody else has really managed. 5) He's brought players like Mowatt into the side with high sell on value. 6) He's having to deal with ****e in the boardroom, he's not doing badly at it. 7) You outplayed the side at the top of the table twice.
Did you go to the game today? Ross was clueless against two quality centre halves. All he did was throw himself to the floor and have tantrums. Kebe and Stuart were ****ee, both of them are frightened to death. Peltier is a complete joke. Austin looks knackered, Murphy is a league one player. Wickham was invisible. Against a big side I don't know why we didn't go three at the back. Play Pugh and Byram as wingers and have Ross in the hole behind natty and Connor. We could have pinged crosses in for knock downs, I said six weeks ago that the dressing room was lost by Brian and nothing since has changed my mind. Just sack him.
Not bad Elland, just busy so I content myself with reading what you lot have to say about the ongoing shambles.
How did you guys feel about Pearson a few years ago when he hadn't been there long, was working with Sven's signings and you were arguably treading water? Did you want rid or did you think it would be sensible to stick with him and see what happens?
Well there were periods where he really didn't have many excuses (last season's run for example). I personally thought we should stick with him because we've just been getting better and better.
Yes I did. He got an assist and was right in the action alongside Wickham (who together got ATLEAST half a dozen shots away). Murphy was great the first half and I personally did not see him mis-place a pass. Austin will be knackered as he's box to box every game making tackles, running at players and passing the ball about (things an average Leeds fan would love to see in a player) probably was on the ball more than any other player today. We tried 3-5-2 in December/Jan and it was an abysmal failure that ended up with chronic hoofball up to Smith and McCormack isolated out of the game. You have no evidence to say that in fact the vigour that Ross McCormack fought to get BM reinstated and his reception on his return to TA shows the complete opposite. We've sacked around 2 managers in around 2 years and if our 3rd manager cannot do it (after doing it with Reading two seasons ago) what makes you think the 4th can? or the 5th? No respectable manager will want to do what BM does. No one would of come back to work alongside Cellinio after getting the sack (we'd been at a tribunal having to folk out thousands in compensation). BM has shown us bags of loyalty and we're calling for his head. Leicester are on the brink of promotion after years of failure while investing tens of millions in players yet they've kept the same manager since 2011. Without injuries Forest would also be up their with them and they reappointed a manager they sacked 20 months before and also spent millions on players. We've had BM for not even a full season, spent a million or two and think that it is our God given right to demand BM gets promoted or gets replaced. It may have been 5-1 but it was nothing like at Hillsbrough...we attacked to the last minute and I truly believe if we had MZ and Peace as CBs Boltons counter attacks would of been no where near as devastating and eventually our higher possession and overall control of the game would of got us 3 points.
I said that at the start of the season as long as we are not in threat of relegation I don't want to see McD sacked, the thing we have been lacking at this club for a long time is stability. I definitely do see the negatives in McD but its quite pointless in sacking a manager every year around the same time because he has failed at getting promotion. You cannot expect a one season wonder to work
There was no fight at all. The one thing I have consistently complained about is our tactical plan to never tackle and just wait for the opposition to cough up possession. How many times did we trouble their keeper, yes we can say that everytime they had an attempt it went in, Just like us at charlton and against udders , Welet them get crosses into the box and each time their forwards were one on one with our static defence. I really don't know where we go from Here but we need as many as fifteen players to have any chance of having a good enough squad to get up. McDermott on this years showing isn't the right man for us I am sorry to say.
We started the season with a poor squad the manager has spent poorly and assembled an even larger poor squad show him the door today. All this foundations lark and team building, he hasn't made ANY improvement just increased the wage bill with garbage like Kebe Hunt and Stewart
Mate of mine went, said we were garbage like being in a nightmare were his words, Yorath and othe commentators also in agreement we were poorer than poor we got stuffed 5-1 that's enough for me to make a judgement. My ten reasons for sacking the manager are not based on one game
The difference was they were not getting thrashed, not being outplayed by league two opposition and they didn't finish the season twice below or around half way, something we are set to do.
I didn't expect promotion... I can't accept a manager bringing in 9 new faces, them not making an ounce of improvement on the team, not seeing how poor the wingers are, not being forced to sell like previous ones, being given backing to sign two £1m players and performances and league position no better than last season
