Hard to care so I have to find an angle for my club. Citeh. If they win everything the Europa League places increase. Whilst highly unlikely we'll finish any higher than 8th, only small angle I can find. They are the best to watch of the top sides too.
Don't really care. I like Liverpool more as a club but their fans would be by far the most unbearable of the 3
It isn't going to be us so I'm not too bothered about who wins. I guess you could say that Arsenal were still in with a chance too.
Why didn't the OP ask in august last year? Its ok being top when asking the question, better leaving it until its a level playing field next august.
Nice wumming leaving Arsenal out. Have to pass on this, my principles say Arsenal or Liverpool (thy won't have bought the title), but can't bring myself to actually vote for either. I pass.
yep, that's what I am saying. You understand my point, fair do's if it doesn't bother you but looking in from the outside, it is wrong that City can be told they need to spend a fortune this summer buying better players having spent a billion pounds on them while Arsenal and Liverpool - with very similar revenue streams - cannot compete. Not a level playing field...unsporting. It's a familiar argument, but not one I have heard successfully challenged.
Liverpool have also overspent for the monitoring period 2011-13 and probably 13/14 too. The accountants won't catch up with them for next season, but they will be held accountable by 2015/16
It's not that it was said (you're right that means nothing) it's that they will be able to and are likely to do it. Like Chelsea - all I hear is that they need a new striker - I bet they won't be hunting around for a bargain, or have to sell there £50m striker.
With Jovetic, Aguero, Negredo and Dzeko - who the **** suggested that . Mills' article was twisted, he said they needed a top defender and would have to spend big in order to do so. BBC headline then becomes 'City need to spend big'. edit: just saw you meant Chelsea rather than City.
