Eto gets away with murder. Should have been sent off against us as well as getting away with a stonewall pen on Suarez. Then today dives while running with Kabul...no free kick.
But then does it again in penalty area and guess what! As for the red card what a joke!

Have to say though, the rest of the game has been a pile of dross. Glad I support Liverpool, always entertaining one way or the other.
Chelsea win is second best result for us though

as long as win win v the mancs.... this result all but puts chelsea AS CLEAR FAVORITES FOR THE TITLE and gives us a great chance to not only secure 4th but to chase for 3rd and upwards.

I think arsneal will settle for 4th and an fa cup... then get beat in the cup final <laugh>

No seriously... I think Chelsea have to stop the silliness that nobody in the press room is even holding a straight face for. We have had a decent result today out of this one and if we can at least hold the mancs at the toilet then i just get the feeling we will be too far in front but the time the spuds, chavs and arabs come to town.

A draw would have been nice but this result is fine by me. I don't think we were ever really going to win the title given Chelsea's run in.

What this does is keep us 6 points above Spurs with a game in hand. Next week we go to United and Spurs play Arsenal at home after our game. That Spurs Arsenal game, we can't really lose. If Arsenal win, it knocks Spurs further back in race for 4th, if Spurs win, it gives us either a cushion above Arsenal or keeps them below us on GD(depending on our result v United).

Spurs are in self destruct mode here <laugh>

Great assist from Sandro to add to Vertonghen's assist for Chelsea's first.

    Oh dear... number 4.

    a 3rd assist from a Spurs player <laugh>

walker tried to header back to the keeper from 35 yards and heads it to Ba to tap in.

All 4 goals have been gifted to Chelsea 3 by spurs and one by the ref. can't see anybody else for the title apart from Chelsea they seem to have everything going for them at the moment

Whatever the results next weekend we will still be 3 points ahead of spurs. 4 really with our goal difference. I think two draws would be good next weekend.

Eh? We're 6 above them at the moment... and if we beat United and they lose to Arsenal we'll be 9 above with a game in hand?

Spurs have a GD of 0.

If they were to somehow get 4th place it would be a travesty to football <doh>

Eh? You said it would keep us below them on goal difference therefore inferring we would be level on points.

I wanted a draw first, but if there had to be a winner, then I'd rather it had been Spurs.
Wanting Chavs to win is, to my mind, tantamount to saying we should just give up on challenging for the title and let's just settle for top 4.
Of course at the start of the season I'd have accepted top 4, but things have moved on and this morning we were in with the possibility of a real challenge for the top. We were 6 points ahead of Spurs, and I think we should have the confidence and belief to expect to end up higher than them through our own endeavours.
I expected Chelsea to win the title, but if they'd dropped points today they wouldn't be out of sight. Their win has probably put them out of reach now, given that this was supposedly one of their tougher games.

Chelsea were dull as dishwater for an hour, but Spurs are just a joke. Their defence is worse than ours.
