Should make for a cracking atmosphere at the park tomorrow, the pack the park promotion has certainly been responded to as they have now opened up the Milton end for extra seating!

Really looking forward to the drive there as I am taking my Daughter (7 yrs) to her first game, along with my Brother and Dad, there will be three generations of us in the North stand..............

    See you all there <ok>

    Have a great day BP!

I'm hoping the lads have spent the rest of the week, re-watching the video of the Chesterfield match. I bet they can't wait to get stuck in.

Really looking forward to this match as well. My daughter and her partner have got tickets near to my seat. A packed ground should produce a fantastic atmosphere, and another win should push us a bit closer to safety for the season.

Also looking forward to seeing Toumani Diagouraga playing in midfield.

    PUP indeed <ok>

I so wanted to go to this game and was planning on taking my nephew to his first Pompey game, but it's my sister's birthday party in the evening and we wouldn't have been able to make it back in time. Oh well, maybe another day, hope they do this deal again before the end of the season.

Sadly I shall only be listening to it on Pompey Player, but it looks like it's another sell-out, had a look last night and there was just an occasional lonely seat here and there.

A good win tomorrow will lift the spirits of the Pompey fans no end.

Some stats for the number crunchers amongst us:

    Last 6 games:
    Pompey 2 - 2 - 2 - 4 - 7 - 8 (13th)
    Cheltenham 2 - 2 - 2 - 5 - 7 - 8 (12th)

    Pompey last 6 homes
    3 - 2 - 1 - 4 - 2 - 11 (4th)

    Cheltenham last 6 away
    2 - 2 - 2 - 5 - 4 - 8 (12th)

    Reverse fixture
    Cheltenham 2-2 Pompey (7th September)

    Mini-League (middle 3rd)
    Cheltenham Pld.10 - 4 - 5 - 1 - 1.70pts/game (2nd)
    Pompey Pld.8 - 3 - 2 - 3 - 1.38pts/g (4th)

Nearly HT and we've been a bit poor so far. Cheltenham been the better side, luckily not clinical in front of goal though.

    League 2 innit!

You gets what you pays for :p

Not been good at home this season.

But this year we just have to suck it up - maybe the squad will be overhauled in the summer and next season will be better.

As long as we don't fall out of the trapdoor I'll be happy.

Nah, you'll be fine. Torquay are gone, and there are a couple of teams at least as wretchedly poor as pompey.

Just to make things a bit more interesting for myself today, I listened to the Cheltenham commentary instead of the PompeyPlayer. They described our team as having "brittle confidence". Maybe it's their mental attitude that lets them down.

They were pretty woeful in the first half of the Accrington game, although it was still watchable, and not quite so woeful in the second half. But as my expectations were rather low I quite enjoyed the game.

Sounds like today they were more than woeful in the first half and just ground out a draw in the second half.

All we have to do is get to the end of the season. <ok>

A great day out for my daughter......shame about the result! We were not as bad as some are making out.......the finishing and lack of cutting edge is the issue.......no evidence of lacking confidence.......we are missing "that telling pass" and "reading each other" at times........all the players looked pretty confident to me....and their work rate was appreciated by all at the end <ok>

It is indeed - I can't say I enjoyed today - first half I thought we were 2nd to every ball and their small bloke in midfield was pretty much running the game. Yes they only had one real effort - and fair play to them it would have been a screamer - but we struggled to create anything of note. The shape looked wrong at times and as the home side I felt we were too tentative. The players looked tired - only Wallace and Diagouraga (who I really hope we hang onto) seemed to be busting a gut. Maybe Monday nights performance took it out of them. I suppose it was another clean sheet and a point but we need to get the ball into areas that hurt teams far more than we do. PUP...and great turn out.

Agree with bp. If Jake Jervis had put away his early chance, it could have been a different matter.

Very impressed with Diagouraga in midfield. On another day, we could have won the match.

Should that not read, both teams should have gone to the races pm ?
Not easy being a football fan when your team is struggling and is the worst team in a poor game.
Still chin up, at least you took some of pies money
