When you've got Diva's,Admiral and Yello(now named moderation)bars nearby,you're gonna get the dregs of the city popping in for a white lightening on a regular basis.... It looks smart though I have to say....
We had a thread about this when it opened. They seem to have spent a few quid, but as far as Saturday nights go, cheap lager in plastic glasses is never going to get you anywhere near the old town pubs with proper beer.
Just don't expect it to be nice! It's done out great! But too many birds sat at the bar in track suits for me! :-(
It's not going to change it's clientele with a name change. Blah Bar was rough as hell, ****e, & empty most weekends. Nowt will change.
I use to go in Blah pre match it was never a cheap drink pub like Divas or Regent late night I'm sure it was a bit crap but it was good to watch footy on TV, cheap horrible beer in plastic glasses won't sway me into pubs like that. Strange but thinking back when the KC first opened we used to go in Prince Regent it was popular as a food pub then decent beer, then they went down the cheap beer route the dregs turned up and luckily Tigers Lair opened and we spent many a happy year in there. Then it got sold and again turned to cheap beer so we left and went to Blah which shut so we go somewhere else, I won't say where cos I don't want all the piss heads on here turning up. Goodnight up the Tigers let's go to Wembley
