Thanks for your concern weighty. Lol. : seriously tho I'd like Taylor to bang in a couple, leadboots get sent off and we come away with the win just don't see it today.
Is this not inevitable. Boro haven't scored in 10 years or however long and now this. Come on boys. Show them what we've got and make the second half ours.
Only to be expected that we face a team who haven't scored for ages and we give away two in the first half. Teams who are on a bad run must love playing us. Come on Ipswich!
Not good tactics by MM today, lost count (so far) of how many times Chambo has been done for pace, he has been over exposed in our 4-3-3 formation 1st half.!
And now we're playing 4-4-2 with four central midfielders, not impressed with that either considering our options
I’m sick of this goalkeeping. People’ll be about the place extolling the virtues of Loach, but he’s exactly the same when it comes to patting the ball away in a cheery and helpful manner to allow enemy strikers to tap it into an open goal. With Loach you also get the shot-stopping of a pot plant. I’m fed up with Loach’s apologies in the EADT to the fans when he’s let in yet another shot that a hamster in a keeper’s jersey could’ve stopped. I know we’re always told chucking a youngster in to such an important position could destroy confidence forever if it all goes horribly wrong, but how much worse could Crowe be? Either way, something has got to be done about this risible goalkeeping situation.
Williams is fine out wide, it's hardly Keane style 4-4-2. Irritated Hunt hasn't got a kick, or Anderson for that matter. Nouble off half time, he's surely going to be dropped for Yeovil. Main good point is Reading/Brighton currently drawing, Wigan/Blackburn not playing. 3 points absolutely essential v Yeovil though, sure.
Hunt, Anderson. Naturally wide players who in most games haven't done any worse than others like Tabb or Hyam. We used to moan like f**k about our previous managers using players out of position and so far Mick has been no different. Chambers, Tabb and Green have all found themselves getting pitch time ahead of others who would normally call that position their own. Obviously it's great when we get the result but the decisions are always questioned when things don't go right.
TBH Warky MM got it wrong today, Chambo got over exposed to their pace out wide with no protection in front of him & with us playing a narrow 433 1st half. We had Ando, Williams & Hunt on the bench, I would have picked at least 2 from these 3 in a 442 ahead of Tabb & Frank, even on the back of Frank's half decent performance last week.!
