Having a bit of ambition is better than treading water every year.

There's no reason why we can't do both anyway.

How many seasons have we been treading water at this level?

But that was the hypothetical situation. Obviously everyone would choose both, yet the choice was to reach the semis or stay in the prem.

Sorry but the hypothetical is as stupid as asking "Would you rather be Hull City or play in the PL?" There's no reason to choose one.

We can win this game and still stay up. I'd expect us to stay up anyway now whatever happens.

Tomorrow's game is the biggest we've had since May I reckon.

Short, medium and long term, our goal is stay at this level.

Short term getting to Wembley is (for us) a big achievement.

Which one will be talked about more in years to come (if it happens of course)?

    By who?

Our 'fans' don't seem fussed by it.

Are you suggesting they will be talking about winning at Wembly, when they show little interest in the competition?

Only an ambitious/ successful side will win over fickle fans.

Just because there's a few empty seats doesn't mean the ones who turned up can't enjoy the feeling.

That says more about the greedy FA moving the semis to Wembley Stadium as well as the final. In this financial climate how many can truely say they can afford to go to both the semi-final and the Final. I would say you are talking of minimum £200 to attend both, that is per person, maybe more. So areas like ours find it difficult to find the wonga.

My point is that we have sold about 16,000 for this 'uninteresting' game.

How many will suddenly find the money for the SF at Wembley (also televised)?

My point is that people should not have to have to decide whether to go to Wembley for a Semi Final or the Final. The Semis should not be at Wembley. It should be played at the ground of either of the teams dependant on the draw. I think most people will only go to Wembley ,assumming we get there ,for the Final

Also, if we can't win 2 matches from the rest of the season to stay up, on the back of this cup run, we don't deserve to stay up.

IF we get to Wembley then I'd hazard a guess we'd sell out our allocation...IF we got there for a final we'd sell it out easily.

That said if being a City fan has taught me anything over the years its that we'll lose tomorrow with a slightly deflated whimper. Not that it will stop me cheering on the mighty Tigers from afar here in Stockholm :1980_boogie_down:

FWIW I'd take a Wigan give the choice - which of course we're not....

At what point will your owner and manager decide 'f**k it, we're overcommitted....too many games in too short a time."?

I'll bet Sheffield United won't have problems shifting tickets if they get through.

" It should be played at the ground of either of the teams dependant on the draw." That doesn't make sense. One team should have a home game? Dependant on the draw, what is that about? Biggest club's ground?

Bad result for SAFC today- Cardiff winning.

The pressure mounts on Gurning Gussie.
