It's fine that you aren't going, as you say, you just can't afford it. But what has that got to do with AA? So you're saying if you did have the money, you still wouldn't go?
Castro. I use to stand in paragon station as a nipper conning ( as we called it ) 2 Bob of everyone I could till I had money to get on footy special. Then con enough money to get into the game . Parents would go mad when I got home as they banned me from going to games. Didn't work though I use set out to school on a Thursday or Friday...change at my mates house then we would thumb it to were ever city was playing that weekend. Portsmouth...QPR...Burnley....Sttockport....etc. Good old days ..But not when I didn't get home till a Monday or tuesday and copped it
That's bollocks and you know it. You was having a cheap swipe at supporters who are turning their backs on the game. I would guess most aren't going cause Allam has p****d them off and the price is not the issue. It is their decision and I respect that.
My opening words included UNLESS THERE IS A GOOD REASON. YOU HAVE A GOOD REASON IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT. no idea why you make out I was having a pop at you. That sure as hell wasn't the case... It was a swipe at those who just can't be bloody arsed.....
Most aren't going because they are clueless fickle 'take it or leave it' football consumers rather than real fans.
I think it will be. You won't be able to play like you did against Man City as we won't be as expansive as them. You'll have to attack rather than relying on the counter and so will we. Hopefully that sets it up to be an exciting game. I just hope you keep 11 men on the pitch instead of self destructing and killing the game by yourselves.
-------- Yup that's the ones I meant Stewart. NOT those who can't afford it or can't travel because of work or family etc etc . Right I'm off to wash my windows....
Hi Lewis, Unfortunately, I don't have that decision to make. TBH though and it pains me to say it but Allam has somehow taken my passion from supporting Hull City away. I am sick of reading about him. Most chairman are in the background but not him. My mates still go and I respect their decision as they do mine. I still want City to win the cup and remain in the PL but as it stands I don't regard myself as part of a brand. Football used to be fun. I remember as a teenager selling weekly tickets to get a pass for the following season.
Thousands are pissed off by Allam but still go. They were going before he came and will still be going after he's gone.
Because most games are arranged with more than 2 weeks notice so they haven't made commitments that prevent them going as they've had time to work everything around everything else?
It's easier to excuse them for a special occassion than it is for a run of the mill event. This weekend's game is no bigger than a league game for us as a club right now. For Sheff U it's a much bigger game with far more importance due to the impact a victory would have on their finances/their ability to compete next season.
