I'm not really bothered. I'm only interested in our own club. Some of you are so obsessed with the mags. Last night we had a discussion about it in my local bar and not all the mags were happy with this signing. I said then and I say now. So what. Let's wait and see what our final line up is for our first game of the season. Big names want big money. We don't pay big money wages so personnaly I won't be disapointed and I won't be building my hopes up or get excited even if Ronaldo is seen at the AOL. If you want the best it costs you and we simply don't seem to have the sort of cash to pay the wages these players are looking for.
the funny thing is since i was 18/19 lived away from the NE. in my exp, if a group of mackems meet a group of geordies away from the NE for some reason it kicks off. if a single mackem meets a single geordie (no gay love puns plse) you tend to get on brilliantly. we don't realise how close we are. love/hate. two sides of the same coin haha. the only reason the hatred exists, and why we love to abuse each other is that both teams have so passionate fans
Its not so much that tbh that annoys me about our team, its the fact that the world and his dog knows we need to invest in a decent defense and a good DM, and for nigh on 6 years Wenger just hasnt done anything about it, too stubborn in his footballing philosophy, and i think (i hope im wrong) it will be his undoing eventually. And yeah as Arsenal fans i think we are a little spoiled and in the grand scheme yes we havent won in six years but we have spent about a quarter of the other top four teams, moved to a new stadium and despite all footballs pundits claiming we would be the one to fall out of the top four we have consistently been there, so its not all bad. Some people just need to stop listening to the media so much and put things in perspective. Chin up though this year might be your year you never know
